GU Launches Chiikawa Summer Collection With Exciting New Items

GU, a popular Japanese clothing brand, has announced its fourth collaboration with the beloved character series Chiikawa, set to launch on May 23, 2025. This collaboration, themed "Chiikawa's Summer Vacation," introduces a vibrant collection of summer items that cater to all ages, including men, women, and children.

The collection features an array of apparel and accessories designed with summer motifs and scenes that reflect the playful spirit of Chiikawa and friends. Among the highlights are aloha shirts priced at 2,290 yen, graphic T-shirts at 1,290 yen, and fun socks at 390 yen, each showcasing the charming expressions of characters like Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Sea Serpent, and Kurimanju. Additionally, there are pile fabric pouches priced at 1,990 yen and net bags with mini pouches also priced at 2,290 yen, perfect for summer outings.

For fans eager to join in the excitement, GU's official X account (@gu_global) will kick off a campaign on May 16, 2025. Participants can enter to win original Chiikawa items by following and reposting the relevant tweet with the hashtag '#GUChiikawaSummerVacation'. Starting from May 23, the Chiikawa collaboration items will be available at GU stores across Japan and online.
