GSEB SSC Results 2025 Expected Soon Amid High Anticipation

More than 7 lakh students await the Gujarat Board Class 10 results as trends suggest a mid-May announcement.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is on the brink of announcing the results for the SSC (Class 10th) examinations, which have been eagerly awaited by students across the state. The exams were conducted from February 27 to March 13, 2025, and based on previous years' trends, the results are expected to be declared in mid-May.

According to reports, more than 7 lakh students participated in the GSEB SSC exams this year. The board has not yet confirmed the exact date for the result announcement, but many anticipate that it could be released as early as May 7, 2025. This speculation is supported by the results from previous years, with the Class 10 results being declared on May 11 in 2024 and May 25 in 2023.

Once the results are published, students will be able to check their scores on the official GSEB website, gseb.org. To access their results, students will need to enter their six-digit seat number. In addition to the website, students can also receive their results via SMS or WhatsApp by sending their seat number to the designated number, 6357300971.

For those who may have lost their admit cards, there is no need to worry. Students can contact their respective schools to obtain their GSEB 10th results. The board has also made provisions for students to apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets if they are not satisfied with their scores. The re-evaluation fee is set at INR 100 for one subject and INR 500 for all subjects.

As for the grading system, students must secure a minimum of grade ‘D’ in all subjects to pass the GSEB SSC examination. Differently abled candidates are required to achieve a passing score of 20%. The overall pass percentage from the previous year stood at 82.56%, with girls outperforming boys—86.69% of girls passed compared to 79.12% of boys.

In 2024, a total of 706,370 students registered for the exams, with 699,598 appearing and 577,556 successfully passing. The statistics for last year included 23,247 students receiving an A1 grade, 78,803 with an A-2, and 118,710 achieving a B1 grade.

Students are advised to keep their admit cards handy when checking their results, as they will need to enter their seat number to access their scores. The GSEB SSC supplementary results are expected to be released in July or August 2025 for those who do not pass the exam.

As the anticipation builds for the GSEB SSC results, students and parents alike are left wondering how the overall pass percentage will fare this year. With the previous year's pass percentage having increased significantly, many hope for an even better outcome in 2025.

For any discrepancies found in the mark list, students must promptly inform the authorities to have corrections made. After the results are declared, students are expected to download their provisional certificates from the official website. They will also need to select an academic stream for their subsequent studies in classes 11 and 12.

In summary, the GSEB SSC results are a pivotal moment for students in Gujarat, determining their academic futures. As the board prepares to unveil the results, students are encouraged to stay informed and ready to check their scores as soon as they are available.
