These changes follow stricter financial aid application requirements, provoking concerns among the 427,000 Indian students residing in Canada, the largest contingent of foreign nationals pursuing education there.
Reports reveal growing confusion and anxiety, particularly after students from Punjab were instructed to visit IRCC offices for credential verification. One Indian student detailed their shock after receiving the document resubmission request, stating, “I was a bit shocked when I received the email.
