Globo Renews Contracts With Three BBB 25 Participants

Only Renata Saldanha, Aline Patriarca, and Vinícius Nascimento continue with the network.

In a selective move following the conclusion of "Big Brother Brasil 25" (BBB 25), Rede Globo has decided to retain only three participants under contract. The season champion, Renata Saldanha, along with Aline Patriarca and Vinícius Nascimento, will continue their association with the network, while all other contestants have been dismissed.

The renewal of contracts was officially announced on Thursday, May 8, 2025, marking the trio's integration into ViU, Globo's commercial agency responsible for managing influencers and talent for advertising campaigns. This decision mirrors the previous year's pattern, where only three contestants from BBB 24 were retained: Giovanna Pitel, Fernanda Bande, and Beatriz Reis.

Among those not retained were Eva Pacheco, a close ally of Renata during the competition, and Guilherme Vilar, who finished as runner-up after winning the public's favor by a single vote. Their potential renewals were discussed but ultimately not pursued.

Renata Saldanha expressed her joy about the renewal, stating, "Being invited to this team is more than an achievement; it’s a warm embrace of my journey, my dreams, and everything I am building with sincerity. It’s an honor to be part of ViU. I feel happy, prepared, and my heart is racing for everything we will build moving forward." Renata, who boasts 1.6 million followers on social media, is already stepping into her new role, having starred in a campaign promoting Pantene Brasil hair products shortly after the announcement.

Vinícius Nascimento, who has 1.1 million followers, shared his surprise at the popularity he garnered post-show. "I have been surprised every day with this new phase of my life after ‘BBB’. The program has always been my dream, and the affection I have received has been an even greater dream. I celebrate this significant step with ViU, which embraced me from the first moment I left the house. I have nothing but gratitude to God and everyone who welcomed me with so much love. I will give my all in every opportunity and for all those who love me," he remarked.

Aline Patriarca, who left the game with a strong fan base of 2.2 million followers, also expressed her excitement about continuing with Globo. "The feeling I carry regarding everything happening in my life is indescribable. I’m happy to see so many wonderful opportunities ahead, a sense of duty fulfilled. I completed an important stage, a watershed moment, and now I am launching into the new, in a world that demands more dedication and focus. Knowing I am surrounded by incredible, competent, and humane people only makes me feel even more welcomed," she celebrated.

In addition to the BBB participants, Globo also renewed its contract with Fernando Fernandes, host of "Esporte Espetacular." He will also be represented by ViU in the advertising market. "The combination of sports and communication has a tremendous social power. I am sure that this new phase at Globo, both artistic and commercial, will amplify my voice, enhancing the association with brands that share the same values. I am very happy about this new moment with ViU," he stated.

The ViU agency, known for managing the careers of various personalities, including Eliana, Tadeu Schmidt, Gil do Vigor, and others, signifies Globo's strategic shift towards focusing on fewer talents with strong commercial appeal and compelling narratives outside of the reality show.

Interestingly, the decision to retain only three contestants has sparked discussions among fans and industry insiders alike. The choice to dismiss notable figures like Eva Pacheco and Guilherme Vilar has left many surprised, given their popularity during the show. This selective approach indicates Globo's intention to streamline its talent roster, focusing on those who resonate strongly with audiences and possess potential for future projects.

The trio's collective following exceeds 4.9 million across social media platforms, indicating a significant marketability that Globo is keen to leverage. As they embark on this new chapter, the excitement surrounding their future projects under Globo's umbrella remains palpable.

As the dust settles from the latest season of BBB, the renewed contracts signal a new beginning for Renata, Aline, and Vinícius, who are now poised to explore a variety of opportunities within the entertainment industry. Their journey, marked by personal growth and public recognition, underscores the evolving landscape of reality television in Brazil and its impact on participants' careers.

With the conclusion of BBB 25, fans are left to wonder what lies ahead for those who were not retained. Will they find new opportunities elsewhere, or will they fade from the spotlight? For now, all eyes are on the three survivors as they navigate their new roles within Globo and the broader media landscape.
