Their appointments are centered around technical expertise and commitment to enhancing transparency and efficiency within local government.
Girardi articulated his selection criteria, stating, "We evaluated basic criteria such as specific knowledge, integrity, commitment, and previous experience with the work to be done. Our approach is not heavily politicized; Frederico requires solid management to grow effectively."
The confirmed secretaries announced include:

The highly anticipated appointments for the Environment and Industry, Commerce, and Tourism departments are expected to be finalized later this month, with Francescatto emphasizing the importance of these roles for upcoming local events such as the Expofred, set for April.
Francescatto noted, "We are actively sourcing names to finalize outstanding appointments, recognizing their significance for our community's initiatives and events." The official inauguration of Girardi and Francescatto's government is set for January 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at URI/FW's Salão de Atos.
During the announcement, the administration spotlighted their initial focuses, particularly the immediate needs of the health and education sectors. "Health requires urgent attention, with efforts set to begin this Thursday, January 2, to align our transport and service offerings to the populace," explained Francescatto. Meanwhile, he highlighted the urgent need for new teaching staff to address significant gaps, stating, "We need to conduct swift hiring processes to prepare for the beginning of the school year by February."
A restructuring of administrative and tax management practices is also on the agenda. Girardi indicated the need for comprehensive planning, reminiscent of strategies used decades earlier, as they work to modernize local governance.
A key upcoming milestone for the community is the 70th anniversary celebration of Frederico Westphalen slated for February, alongside preparations for Expofred, which aims to bolster both economic and cultural dimensions of the area. For this, Girardi assured the allocation of approximately R$ 500,000 from municipal funds to support the necessary logistics and visitation efforts.
With nine secretaries already officially named and two high-priority departments awaiting appointments, Girardi and Francescatto seem focused on establishing stability and efficiency within the new administration, positioning Frederico Westphalen for a promising future.
