The much-anticipated Fuji Rock Festival 2025 is slated to take place from July 25 to 27 at Naeba Ski Resort, located in the picturesque Niigata Prefecture. This year’s lineup brings excitement, with global and local music talent coming together to create unforgettable performances.

Among the headliners for this year, the UK dance music sensation FRED AGAIN.. will make his much-awaited debut on the first day, July 25. Known for captivating collaborations with artists like Skrillex and Anderson .Paak, FRED AGAIN.. has established himself as one of the foremost figures in contemporary dance music.

On July 26, fans can look forward to seeing the funk powerhouse VULFPECK, another festival debutant, who recently wowed audiences by filling Madison Square Garden, affirming their position as one of the leading live acts. Plus, the legendary Japanese musician Tatsuro Yamashita will also perform for the first time at Fuji Rock.

The final day, July 27, will see the return of beloved indie rock group VAMPIRE WEEKEND, who are marking their comeback to the festival after three years. Their latest album received high praise, adding to the excitement surrounding their return.

This year's festival will also showcase talents such as Suchmos, Vaundy, Creepy Nuts, RADWIMPS, and many others. The diverse lineup reflects the festival's commitment to featuring both international stars and the best of Japanese music culture.

Beyond incredible performances, early ticket sales for the festival commenced on February 21, showcasing various types of passes at early bird rates. For those eager to attend, purchasing tickets early is encouraged, as prices will increase as the festival dates approach. Three-day passes are available for ¥54,000, with one-day tickets priced at ¥24,000 and discounted rates for younger attendees, including free entry for children under 15 when accompanied by guardians.

Festival organizers have streamlined the ticketing process by offering wristbands sent via mail. This allows festival-goers to bypass the ticket exchange queue upon arrival, adding to the convenience of the experience.

Other facilities offered include camping site tickets, parking passes, and even opportunities to contribute to the local community through donations linked to festival attendance. Those who opt for hometown tax donations through Furusato Nozei can avail themselves of special gifts, including on-site food vouchers and festival tickets.

Transportation to the festival is also well-coordinated, with fast buses available from Echigo-Yuzawa Station to the venue, minimizing waiting times and ensuring guests can arrive quickly to enjoy the festivities. Special service passes for shuttle buses around the venue and access to exclusive lounges are also on offer, enhancing the visitor experience.

With environmental conservation at the heart of the festival, Fuji Rock continues to promote sustainability practices to minimize the ecological impact of large gatherings.

The Fuji Rock Festival has grown to become one of Japan's most celebrated outdoor music events, attracting hordes of fans every summer. This year's festival promises to uphold the tradition of remarkable artistry, breathtaking scenery, and the spirit of community.

The lineup, the scenic beauty of the venue, and the festival vibe continue to create magic for attendees—each year elevates its reputation and charm. Given the current lineup and the fun-filled activities planned, Fuji Rock 2025 is more than just a music festival; it’s set to be part of memorable experiences for music lovers, families, and new friends alike.
