On March 11, 2025, a significant meeting took place at the prefecture of Seine-et-Marne, presided over by Jean-Bernard Iché, the sub-prefect responsible for public services. This gathering aimed to share the results of the annual survey of France Services operators and to discuss future projects and developments.
The survey revealed remarkable participation, with 100% of the 35 France Services structures in Seine-et-Marne taking part, contrasting with the national average of 87%. This high level of engagement reflects the commitment of local authorities to improve public services. Various feedback gathered from the survey will enable the Agence Nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires (ANCT), the program's overseeing body, to tailor services according to the needs of both advisors and operators.
During the session, representatives from key organizations like the Caisse d'allocations familiales (CAF), the Caisse nationale d’assurance vieillesse (CNAV), la Caisse primaire d’assurance maladie (CPAM), and the Direction départementale des finances publiques (DDFIP) were present, showcasing the collaborative effort required to maintain and improve access to administrative services.
France Services, since its inception in 2020, has emerged as pivotal for citizens, ensuring access to public services within 30 minutes of their homes. The Vosges region, for example, has established 26 labeled structures and implemented itinerant services to reach under-served areas.
According to data from 2024, France Services processed 186,528 requests, marking a 15% increase from the previous year. A total of 120,261 individual support sessions were conducted, underscoring the integral role these offices play as digital interfaces for citizens seeking aid. Across the Vosges department, there are 62 counselors dedicated to assisting individuals navigate their administrative needs.
Looking forward to 2025, discussions at the recent meeting highlighted several key developments. The gradual integration of URSSAF services began on January 1, 2025, which will be complemented by specialized training for counselors scheduled for April. This will not only expand the range of services available but also improve the efficiency of existing administrative routes.
Further, plans are underway for collaboration with the Direction des Services de l'Éducation Nationale des Vosges, aimed at enhancing support for families, particularly concerning scholarship applications and other educational administrative tasks.
During the meeting, the Prefect recognized the commitment of local actors and national partners working to facilitate public access to services. She emphasized the pressing need for continuous collaboration among various stakeholders to respond effectively to user requirements and adapt services to the realities on the ground.
Echoing this sentiment, Jean-Bernard Iché expressed gratitude for the rich exchange of ideas during the session, noting the impact of France Services on the everyday lives of citizens. He highlighted testimonials from local representatives and France Services advisors, praising the program's significant influence on access to public services.
The meeting concluded with participants sharing insights on successful practices and addressing challenges faced on the ground. The collaborative environment established through such meetings is integral to the program's evolution, ensuring it remains relevant and effective as it moves forward.
By setting these clear objectives, France Services not only aims to bolster the support provided to its users but also reinforces its commitment to ensuring administrative processes are accessible to everyone, regardless of their location.
