FPT Polytechnic Hosts JobFair 2025 Empowering Students With AI

Nearly 4,000 students attended the annual event, connecting with top employers and enhancing job search skills.

FPT Polytechnic, based in Hanoi, hosted its annual Job Fair 2025 under the theme "Tearing Job Market Blindfolds - How AI Can Help You?" The event, held on March 5, 2025, attracted nearly 4,000 students and 37 top enterprises presenting over 2,000 job vacancies. This significant career fair exemplifies the college's commitment to its philosophy of "Practical Learning - Practical Jobs," aimed at securing earlier employment for its students.

During the event, students had the opportunity to break through barriers in their job search and learn about AI applications in enhancing their personal branding and impressing potential employers. The fair served as a vital link between students and leading companies like Funtap, Il-Sung Tech, PMT Group, Sheraton Hanoi West, and many others.

Out of the 4,000 students who attended, about 1,500 submitted their resumes for direct interviews with employers, mirroring the rising demand for skilled labor in the labor market. The starting salaries for various roles ranged from 8 million to 12 million VND, with positions in Electrical, Mechanical, and Automation engineering offering starting salaries of up to 13 million VND.

Besides formal employment opportunities, Job Fair 2025 opened doors for internships both locally and internationally, helping students gain hands-on experience, enhance their professional skills, and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.

Nguyen Kim Phuong, the Vice-Rector of FPT Polytechnic, emphasized, "FPT Polytechnic always adheres to the philosophy of Practical Learning - Practical Jobs, teaching what businesses need. By developing both hard and soft skills, we provide numerous opportunities for students to secure employment right from the age of 20."

Representatives from WNC Vietnam praised the alignment between FPT Polytechnic's training programs and their hiring needs, noting the advantage students hold due to the college's frequent organization of job fairs, which facilitates direct connections with employers. This approach not only helps students gain insight into real job prospects but also allows them to accumulate experience, preparing them thoroughly for their career journeys post-graduation.

As Cẩm Ly, a digital marketing student from FPT Polytechnic, expressed her hopes of securing a job aligned with her major after attending the fair. She stated, "My goal at Job Fair 2025 is to interview with three companies in the marketing field to find a job suitable for my area of study. I hope that through direct talks with employers, I can secure a full-time position right after graduation."

The fair was not limited to recruitment alone; it also offered a lively atmosphere through interactive mini-games and informational booths from various enterprises. This created opportunities for students to learn more about corporate environments and cultures while having fun and winning attractive prizes.

The journey of Job Fair 2025 began from March 5, 2025, spanning four phases: AI - FIND - HIT - SECRET. The event completed the fourth phase of this journey. Kim Quynh, head of the corporate relations department at FPT Polytechnic, shared, "We aim for students not only to find suitable jobs but to also learn how to develop professionally in the digital age."

In the first phase, students met cybersecurity expert Hiếu PC at the National Cyber Security Monitoring Center who provided keen insights into the application of AI in both study and work while warning of high-tech scams that youth must guard against. Hiếu PC, who transitioned from being a hacker to a cybersecurity expert, captivated students with his practical advice, preparing them for challenges in the digital era.

The second phase saw the successful livestream about internship orientations for the summer of 2025, helping students understand real working environments, employer expectations, and how to optimize resumes. This expert advice provided an effective internship roadmap for students to steer their careers early on.

In the third phase, students received free profile pictures and one-on-one CV editing with experts, enhancing their competitive edge during job applications. This initiative reaffirms FPT Polytechnic's commitment to hands-on training and ensuring students are well-prepared for upcoming interviews.

Job Fair is an annual event organized by FPT Polytechnic, serving as a crucial link between students and companies. Following the Hanoi fair, similar events are scheduled in regions like Tây Nguyên, Ho Chi Minh City, Cần Thơ, and Đồng Nai. Through direct recruitment activities and interviews, thousands of students have secured suitable jobs, highlighting that practical learning, aimed at employment, is more valuable than merely possessing a degree.

As a diverse vocational training institution, FPT Polytechnic aims to provide students with real value through its educational philosophy of “Practical Learning - Practical Jobs.” In addition to IT, Business Administration, Graphic Design, and Automation and Control Engineering, it has expanded to include many attractive programs meeting labor market trends such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Healthcare Technology.

Thanks to its network of over 2,000 enterprises, FPT Polytechnic students engaging in real-world projects, internships, and job interviews at their campus often report a remarkable 97.7% employment rate within a year after graduation. In 2025, FPT Polytechnic plans to launch the "Lighting the Future" scholarship program with 4,000 scholarships totaling up to 70 billion VND, including dedicated half-tuition scholarships for the 2007 cohort.

In light of these developments and new challenges, FPT Polytechnic is poised to lead in high-quality vocational training, continuing to adapt to the dynamic labor market needs.
