Players are returning to the Winterfest cabin, where they can open presents containing various cosmetic rewards. Among these presents are the two standout skins: Yulejacket, dressed for the winter season, and the new Santa Dogg skin, which features the iconic rapper Snoop Dogg dressed as Santa Claus.
To earn the Yulejacket skin, players must display patience. Tucked inside the tall green present with a red bow on the left of the lodge, this skin can only be opened after players have unwrapped every other present throughout the event. Consequently, players will have to wait 13 days, leading them to open this present on January 1, 2025.
The Santa Dogg skin, meanwhile, is another treat for fans. Currently, the specific date for its availability remains unannounced, but players are expected to wait around one week before they can unwrap the bright yellow present containing this festive cosmetic. For those eager to enjoy Snoop Dogg-themed gear, options like his existing skins available for purchase and festival pass will still be viable. While participating by opening daily gifts, players can also earn the Snoop Bass, Pickaxe, and Back Bling, all inspired by the rapper.
The Winterfest event doesn't just stop at skins. This year, Fortnite has introduced fun new NPCs, including Mariah Carey, who provides players with new interactive experiences. Meeting the Mariah Carey NPC can lead players to the unique emote “All I Want for Christmas,” embodying the spirit of the holidays.
