Former Champs Unite For Christmas Charity Special

Tout le monde veut prendre sa place brings back beloved contestants for festive episodes supporting sick children.

For the holiday season, the popular French game show Tout le monde veut prendre sa place is offering fans something special to look forward to. On December 23 and 24, 2023, viewers will witness two festive episodes featuring thirteen former champions from the show, coming together for the first time for this unique event.

These episodes, hosted by Cyril Féraud, will unite the talented contestants to compete for a noble cause. The event aims to support Les Lutins du Phoenix, a charitable organization dedicated to organizing activities for children suffering from cancer across France. “They will play for the charitable association Les Lutins du Phoenix, which organizes activities for sick children with cancer,” explained Féraud during a press conference earlier this month.

Among the champions returning for the two episodes is Isabelle, notable for her impressive 104 victories. During the event, she will take over the coveted red chair from current champion Charlotte temporarily. Isabelle expressed her delight at the opportunity, stating, “He asked me if I minded sitting in the chair, and I accepted. I found it quite nice and, of course, flattering.” This change is significant as it highlights the show's tradition of honoring its top performers.

A key figure missing from the special reunion is Marie-Christine, who holds the record for the most wins at 213. Although she was eager to join her fellow contestants, circumstances prevented her participation. Féraud noted Dominique, the third-highest winner, also couldn’t attend due to long-standing professional commitments. “It’s a way to pay tribute to these contestants who have marked the game. It will be two very joyful shows; they were all very happy to reunite. It’s like one big family,” the host conveyed.

Marie-Christine, who had previously spent eight months dominating the red chair back in 2018, expressed her sentiments leading up to the special series. “I enjoy being with friends, and the pleasure of doing a special is to reconnect with each other,” she shared, highlighting the strong bonds formed over time through competition.

Viewers can anticipate excitement filled with nostalgia and camaraderie. Féraud highlighted the atmosphere, remarking, “They have been very happy to see each other again. It’s great to see them all together as friends.” This sentiment reverberates with the contestants, many of whom maintain contact through platforms like WhatsApp, where they share memories, support each other, and even relay laughs.

This special Christmas event isn’t just about competition; it’s about community. The champions will come together to perform their best to raise as much money as possible for Les Lutins du Phoenix. “There’s additional tension because I’m not playing for myself,” Isabelle admitted. “The goal is to avoid embarrassment and to bring as much money as possible to the charity.”

The public will witness thrilling trivia challenges and entertaining moments as the former champions face off again. With so many remarkable individuals participating, there’s bound to be good-natured rivalry and humor. “All these former champions are here for the right cause,” Blaise, another returning contestant, commented.

With emotions running high and nostalgia palpable, this event will remind everyone of the great experiences shared on the show. Viewers can expect to enjoy delightful contests and emotional reunions over the course of the two days. It reflects not only on the achievements of past contestants but also on the joys of coming back together for good causes.

The festive spirit will dominate the airwaves of Tout le monde veut prendre sa place on France 2, offering viewers captivating television and the chance to support children combating cancer through this charity initiative. Don't miss out on what promises to be two enchanting evenings full of fun, laughter, and heartfelt causes.
