The pub is located on the sixth floor of the Ratnam Complex, nearby the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium, home to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team, for which Kohli has played throughout his illustrious IPL career.
The controversy first surfaced when BBMP issued its initial notice on November 29, but after not receiving any response from the owners, they proceeded with another communication. The second notice has now established a strict seven-day deadline for the owners to clarify their compliance with fire safety regulations or face legal action. The health officer of the Shanthinagar Division of BBMP stated, "The pub will have to face legal action if the clarification is not provided this time."
