Continuing the holiday cheer, the Amarillo Botanical Gardens is hosting its annual Christmas in the Gardens event until December 23, with an encore on December 27. Now entering its fifth season, Amarillo Lights at Maxwell’s offers even more holiday fun through December 23. Featuring over 50,000 lights, Santa will be available for children's wishes every night from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Families can enjoy rides through the light display, holiday music, and various activities including fire pits, tube slides, and more. Refreshments will also be available, with proceeds benefiting the Amarillo Angels organization.
Meanwhile, Cinergy Entertainment is promoting its December schedule, which features exciting movie premieres and regular specials. This includes the return of their Holiday Toy Drive, where patrons donating toys can receive game cards or complimentary popcorn. Trivia Nights will continue every Thursday until December 26, providing entertainment for trivia enthusiasts.
The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum invites the community to check out its new exhibition, 'Behind the Action: Making Magic with the Horses of Hollywood.' This bilingual exhibit explores the pivotal role horses play in classic films, running until November 15, 2025, and includes props from the series '1883.'
