On February 26, 2024, tragedy struck at the Rong Kluea Market, located in Aranyaprathet, Sa Kaeo. At approximately 00:11, fire broke out at this busy market, attracting emergency alerts. According to FM91, the Aranyaprathet Rescue Foundation responded swiftly, with local fire units joining forces to investigate and extinguish the flames. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but the incident has raised concerns about safety and preparedness within local markets.

While the market grappled with the aftermath of the fire, the music scene was celebrating as Spotify unveiled its 2024 South Korean Music Global Impact List. Leading the chart was Jimin, the talented member of K-Pop group BTS, whose song "Who" dominated global streams outside South Korea. Jungjoo Park, Spotify's Head of Music for South Korea, expressed pride over the continued success of Korean artists, stating, "The list showcases the continuous expansion of Korean music’s influence globally," which is evident as K-Pop artists like ROSÉ, JENNIE, and Stray Kids also made impressive appearances on the list.

Further solidifying K-Pop's global reach, the list highlights not only established stars but also newcomers like ILLIT and BABYMONSTER, showing the industry's capacity to innovate and attract diverse fan bases. Artists are expected to keep pushing boundaries, reflecting the genre's unique ability to resonate with audiences worldwide.
