Ethel Cain Announces Highly Anticipated Second Album And Tour

The artist’s new record serves as a prequel to her acclaimed debut, while her upcoming tour supports the trans community.

Ethel Cain, the cult favorite singer-songwriter, has officially announced her second album titled 'Willoughby Tucker, I Will Always Love You', set for release in August 2025. This highly anticipated record serves as a prequel to her acclaimed 2022 debut, 'Preacher's Daughter', and comes shortly after her earlier release, 'Perverts', which dropped earlier this year.

On March 24, 2025, the Florida-born musician unveiled details of her upcoming album, which continues the narrative style that captured listeners with her debut project. 'Preacher's Daughter' transformed Ethel Cain, whose real name is Hayden Silas Anhedönia, into a prominent figure in music, thanks to her poignant storytelling that showcases themes of heartbreak, religious trauma, and the darker sides of life.

Certainly, the announcement of this new album has generated excitement among fans who are eager to journey further into the character-driven universe she created with 'Preacher’s Daughter'. Cain has expressed that she plans to delve deeper into the story she established, previously hinting at a novel adaptation detailing her character's experiences. She shared with Line Of Best Fit, “I’m excited to eventually get to her, because that’s the horror story: that’s where things get the darkest and the series of events are revealed that lead to Ethel Cain, her granddaughter, dying in some basement.”

Alongside the album announcement, Cain has confirmed her most extensive tour to date, the 'Willoughby Tucker Forever' tour, which will run through North America and Europe. Kicking off in August 2025, the tour will hit numerous notable venues, including the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York.

The tour is also a commitment to social responsibility, as Ethel Cain announced that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to organizations dedicated to serving the trans community. This philanthropic approach is part of her ongoing effort to align her music career with meaningful causes.

Ticket presales will start on March 26, 2025, ahead of the general sale on March 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can expect to see Ethel Cain perform in various cities, including:
