Eric Allen’s illustrious career spanned 14 seasons, during which he tallied up an impressive 54 interceptions, ranking him among the best defensive backs in NFL history. Originally drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles as the 30th overall pick during the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft, Allen built much of his legacy with the Eagles before concluding his career with the New Orleans Saints and the Oakland Raiders.
During his four seasons with the Raiders, Allen captured additional accolades, including 15 interceptions and contributing to the organization’s success during their strong years of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
