Easter Weekend Markets Showcase Italian Craftsmanship

Fans can enjoy exclusive shopping experiences across Italy this April.

As Easter approaches, fans of Italian craftsmanship can look forward to a special weekend filled with the best of Made in Italy at the renowned "Gli Ambulanti di Forte dei Marmi" market. This beloved market, known for showcasing high-quality artisanal goods and the latest fashion trends, will make its much-anticipated return to several locations throughout Italy, including Velletri, Lido di Ostia, and Fiumicino.

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the market will kick off in Velletri, specifically in Viale Oberdan and Via delle Mura. The following day, Easter Sunday, it will be held in Lido di Ostia at Piazza Sirio, and on Monday, April 21, Easter Monday, it will wrap up in Fiumicino along the Lungomare della Salute. Each location will host the market from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, rain or shine, ensuring that shoppers can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere regardless of the weather.

“We are excited to bring the magic of our open-air boutiques back to these wonderful locations,” said Andrea Ceccarelli, President of the Consortium. He emphasized the importance of the market as a space for genuine shopping experiences, stating, “Our brand is now synonymous with exclusive and convenient shopping.”

The markets promise to be a visual feast, with stalls brimming with colorful goods that reflect the rich traditions of Tuscan and Italian craftsmanship. Visitors can expect to find a variety of high-quality products, including clothing featuring new designer collections, artisanal leather goods like bags and shoes, luxurious cashmere, furs, fine fabrics, home textiles, porcelain, jewelry, and exquisite Florentine textiles.

Ceccarelli also addressed the issue of imitation, urging customers to be wary of counterfeit markets. “Our invitation is to be cautious of any imitation attempts and to evaluate the quality of our goods directly from our stalls,” he said. The Consortium, established in 2002, was formed by a group of the best vendors from the iconic Forte dei Marmi market, with the aim of bringing its unique shopping experience to towns across Italy.

In addition to the Easter weekend events, the market will also take place in Beinasco on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Located in the Borgaretto district on Via Papa Giovanni XXIII, this market will run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, also regardless of weather conditions. Daniele Bettolo, Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Economic Activities of Beinasco, expressed enthusiasm for hosting such a prestigious event. “Fairs have always represented a festive gathering between citizens and merchants, energizing the streets and boosting local commerce,” he remarked.

The return of "Gli Ambulanti di Forte dei Marmi" is not just a shopping opportunity; it's a celebration of Italian culture and craftsmanship. Shoppers can immerse themselves in an authentic marketplace experience, where they can find exclusive products that are often highlighted by fashion blogs and magazines.
