Dynamo Players Represent Ukraine National Teams This March

During the break in club football, Dynamo Kyiv players have joined various national teams for international matches, showcasing their talent on the international stage.

This March, the Ukraine national team will compete in two playoff matches of the Nations League for the 2024/25 season against Belgium. The first thrilling encounter is scheduled for March 20, 2025, which will be formally categorized as a home game for Ukraine. Holding this contest will occur at the Enrique Roca de Murcia Stadium, located in Spanish Murcia, where the match kicks off at 21:45. The teams will then face off again for the return match on March 23, 2025, set to take place at 21:45 as well, but this time at the Cegeka Arena stadium in Genk, Belgium.

Manager Serhiy Rebrov is counting on the abilities of four Dynamo players to help secure victory: Mykola Shaparenko, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, Andriy Yarmolenko, and Vladislav Vanat. These players, who have shown remarkable skills throughout the season, are seen as key assets for the team's internationals.

Meanwhile, the Ukraine U-21 national team is also stepping up its game by holding a training camp from March 17 to 25, 2025, in Turkey. This camp is part of their comprehensive preparation for the upcoming Euro-2025 (U21) final tournament. During their time there, the U-21 squad will engage in two friendly matches against Slovenia on March 21 and Poland on March 25. The U-21 squad features six Dynamo players: Ruslan Neshcheret (goalkeeper), Taras Mykhavko, Konstantin Vivcharenko (defenders), and Valentyn Rubchynskyi, Maksym Bhragaru, Volodymyr Brazhko (midfielders), alongside two loaned players Anton Tsarenko (Lechia Poland) and Oleksandr Yatsyk (Zorya).

Not falling behind, the Ukraine U-20 national team will also hold its own training camp as they gear up for the 2025 World Cup (U20) at the same location, Turkey. They will play against Northern Ireland's U21 team on March 22 and will tussle with Norway U20 on March 25, at respective times of 16:00 and 14:00. The U-20 squad will see participation from four Dynamo players: Vladyslav Zakharchenko, Roman Salenko, Fedir Zadorozhny, Matviy Ponomarenko, along with two more, Oleksii Husev (Metalist 1925) and Andriy Matkevych (Zorya).

The competition doesn’t end there, as the Ukraine U-17 national team is set to participate in the second qualifying round for Euro-2025 (U17) taking place this month. During their stint, they will play multiple matches including one against Croatia on March 19, Italy on March 22, and Slovakia on March 25. The coaching staff, led by Oleksandr Sytnyk, will rely on two Dynamo players: midfielder Pavlo Lyusin and forward Maxim Kucheryavyy.

Lastly, the U-16 national team, which includes players born after 2009, will take part in a four-nation tournament hosted by Romania. They plan to compete against peers from Poland on March 20, Romania on March 22, and Montenegro on March 24. This squad features three Dynamo players: goalkeeper Dmytro Pozhar, defender Nikita Tsarychansky, and midfielder Nazar Huryn.
