At the same time, I know that music was important to my Mom—she was always proud of my passion and supported me at every moment," he wrote.
Despite his grief, DJ Hazel continued to perform, stating, "I decided, despite my personal tragedy and mourning, not to cancel my scheduled performances. Pawbeats expressed his disbelief at the loss, stating, "DJ Hazel is gone; I can't believe it. Michał was one of the first who wasn't afraid of totally 'unacceptable' combinations for those times, like playing with Pawbeats Orchestra 'Weź pigułkę' at Przystanek Woodstock. Thank you for the most famous party in Poland, for those 15 million views, for being a total buddy with an unmistakable sense of humor and a treasure trove of anecdotes at every meeting in Bydgoszcz (and beyond). My heart is breaking."
Another artist, C-BooL, also shared his condolences, expressing his sorrow and disbelief. He wrote, "Michał… DJ Hazel, I can't believe it… why? Goodbye, my friend… Goodbye, Legend! I will remember you as you are in this picture. Condolences to the whole family."
