After a journey filled with challenges and personal growth, Daria Shefruk has returned to Thailand from Poland, radiating positivity and joy. The former partner of popular figure Aom has been spending time with her family in Poland, and her recent return has sparked excitement among her friends and fans.
In a recent appearance on a well-known program on Channel 7, Shefruk was seen enjoying herself alongside the host, New Nhuad. Guitar Siripich, who shared clips and photos of their time together, expressed his delight at seeing Daria back and having fun. "We’re happy to see Daria enjoying life again after everything she’s been through. It’s like she’s emerged from a dark period, and now everything is looking up," he said.
Meanwhile, Poland is increasingly becoming a popular destination for Thai students looking to study abroad. With its beautiful cities, vibrant atmosphere, and affordable cost of living, Poland offers an attractive option for those seeking higher education in Europe.
One notable example is a digital content creator known as 'Pee Luk Moo,' who shared her experiences studying for a master's degree at Lazarski University in Poland. She detailed her journey, emphasizing the importance of pursuing education abroad as a lifelong dream.
"I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Mahidol University and then pursued my master's at Lazarski University. It was always my dream to study abroad, and after working for a while, I realized I wanted to take that leap," she recounted.
Initially, she had received acceptance letters from universities in New Zealand and the UK but chose Poland due to budget considerations. "Even with partial scholarships, the costs in New Zealand were still high, and the living expenses in the UK are quite daunting," she explained. "I wanted to find a country where I could manage my expenses without burdening my family."
Lazarski University appealed to her not only for its affordability but also for its Double Degree program, which allows students to earn qualifications from both Poland and the UK. She applied for the International Business Economics program, which is co-offered with Coventry University.
However, upon starting her studies, she found the coursework challenging, particularly the mathematics involved in the Econometrics subject. "I was overwhelmed at first, especially with homesickness creeping in," she admitted. After discussing her difficulties with faculty, she decided to switch to a Single Degree in Business Management, which she found more aligned with her interests.
The Business Management program at Lazarski University covers essential topics such as Human Resources, Business Law, and Digital Marketing. Additionally, she chose to focus on Big Data Management, learning about artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and SQL skills.
"The classes are small, with fewer than 20 students, which fosters a supportive environment. The professors are attentive and know each student by name," she noted. Her experience in Poland has not only been about academics; she also enjoyed the cultural exchange and the opportunity to meet diverse people.
While learning Polish was not a requirement for her studies, she acknowledged that having some knowledge of the language could be beneficial. "I started with the basics, but since most people here speak English, I didn’t face many challenges," she said. "The public transportation system is efficient and easy to navigate, making it convenient to get around the city."
In terms of cultural experiences, she shared that Warsaw, where she studied, is a charming city with a warm atmosphere. "I found it easy to travel around, and the public transport is reliable. Plus, students get a 50% discount on fares, which is a bonus!"
Despite missing Thai food, she discovered that there are many Thai restaurants in Poland, which helped ease her homesickness. "The food in Poland is quite different, but I found comfort in visiting Thai restaurants," she mentioned, laughing about her love for spicy dishes.
Reflecting on her time in Poland, she highlighted the importance of stepping out of one's comfort zone. "Studying abroad is not just about academics; it’s about personal growth and experiencing new cultures. It can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding," she said.
For those considering studying in Poland, she advised that it’s essential to be prepared and have clear goals. "If you’re looking for an affordable education and a chance to explore a new culture, Poland is a fantastic option. It’s a beautiful country with so much to offer," she concluded.
As Shefruk and Pee Luk Moo continue their journeys, their stories serve as inspiration for those looking to embrace new experiences and challenges in their lives.
