Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan's twisted thriller Fresh is airing on UK television tonight. The 2022 film has been described as a "must-see" by Digital Spy, focusing on a woman who meets the supposedly perfect man on a dating app, only to discover he has some unusual appetites.

Edgar-Jones has had a busy year thus far. Known for her role in Normal People, she also starred in the movie Twisters and the play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at London's Almeida Theatre. She is set to appear next in the film On Swift Horses alongside Jacob Elordi.
On the other hand, Stan starred in A Different Man and The Apprentice in 2024, the latter role earning him his first Oscar nomination. He is also expected to return to his Marvel roots in the upcoming movie Thunderbolts.
With an 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes, Fresh has become a standout film in the horror-thriller genre, cleverly combining elements of horror with a dark satire of modern dating culture. It tells the story of Noa (played by Edgar-Jones), a young woman growing tired of dating. Her luck seems to change when she meets Steve (played by Stan), who appears perfect. After several enjoyable dates, Steve invites Noa for a weekend getaway alone with him. However, the getaway takes a disturbing turn when he reveals his bizarre appetites.
