Cyril Féraud Balances Starring Role With Fatherhood

The popular TV host cherishes moments with his son Tim amid busy filming schedule.

Cyril Féraud, well-known for his engaging presence on French television, has recently embraced fatherhood, welcoming his first son, Tim, this past summer. The arrival of his child has undoubtedly shifted his priorities, compelling him to find a delicate balance between his thriving career and his new role as a father.

Féraud, who is currently the host of various successful shows, including Tout le monde veut prendre sa place, 100% Logique, and The Floor, has managed to maintain his professional commitments even as he navigates this new chapter of his life. During an insightful interview with Télé-Loisirs, he reflected on his demanding schedule and how he thoughtfully integrates moments with Tim amid filming and production commitments.

"My priority is my son. A whole part of my dressing room has been reorganized for him," Féraud shared with excitement. Indeed, the reverberations of fatherhood have led him to overhaul his routine significantly. His commitment to being present for Tim is apparent as he arranges his time to maximize interactions with his child. "I'm going to be shooting for the next eight months, so I need to be organized for breaks and vacations," he added, accentuating his dedication.

This new fatherhood experience extends beyond mere time management. Cyril expressed his emotions around celebrating milestones with his son, speaking candidly about their first Christmas together. "I get emotional thinking about it," he admitted, emphasizing the magic of showing Tim the festive decorations and festivities even if he is still quite small. Féraud views these moments as special memories shaping their bond.

A key part of Féraud's life is his residence away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. He currently lives in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Hauts-de-Seine, often considered the cyber city of the region. This location combines the beauty of green spaces with the conveniences of urban living — making it ideal for raising his son. "When we walk through the park and see other parents, there is this little look shared among us, as if to say we are on the same team," he described, portraying the camaraderie he feels with fellow parents. Friendships have formed too; Cyril enjoys the company of his friend and fellow presenter Laurent Luyat, who is also his neighbor.

Since becoming a father, Féraud has remained committed to his career without retracting his dedication to his son. His career was recently bolstered by the transition from hosting Slam, passing the baton to Théo Curin, who received heartfelt recognition and support from Féraud during this professional exchange. Acknowledging the emotional connections he has nurtured throughout his career, Féraud recalled his memorable encounter with legendary rocker Johnny Hallyday when he had the opportunity to interview him during the Téléthon. "I was scared to death... it was terrible," he confessed, vividly recounting the anxiety of facing such an iconic figure. This candid reflection revealed not just his vulnerabilities but also the deep respect he holds for those he has encountered along his career.

Despite the rich experiences from his profession, Féraud emphasizes the joy of becoming a parent. With plenty still on his calendar, the television presenter continues to embody the spirit of hard work balanced with the joys of fatherhood. With each passing day, Cyril Féraud showcases how love for his son shapes both his life at home and his career on screen, rendering this chapter of his life both enriching and deeply fulfilling.
