Cunard's Queen Anne Makes Historic Arrival In Singapore

The luxury cruise ship begins her maiden world voyage with future sailings planned from Singapore in 2026.

Cunard’s highly-anticipated new cruise ship, Queen Anne, has made her debut in Singapore, docking at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre on March 24-25, 2025, for an overnight stay as part of her 107-night maiden world cruise, which will visit over 30 destinations in more than 20 countries.

Launched in May 2024, Queen Anne is Cunard’s first new ship in 14 years. This Pinnacle-class vessel spans 14 decks, boasts 15 dining venues, and can accommodate up to 3,000 guests, supported by over 1,200 crew members. Named after Queen Anne, who reigned from 1702 to 1714, the ship is the second-largest in Cunard’s fleet.

To commemorate her first visit to Singapore, a plaque exchange ceremony took place on March 24, 2025, with Captain David Hudson and officials from SATS-Creuers Cruise Services, which operates the Marina Bay Cruise Centre; the Singapore Tourism Board; and Wallem Shipping. Over 40 local travel advisors were also invited onboard for a familiarisation tour, where they enjoyed lunch at the Britannia restaurant and explored the ship's opulent features.

Among these features is the Royal Court Theatre, a stunning two-deck venue outfitted with 825 plush velvet seats. The ship’s grand atrium, which spans three stories, features a mural sculpture that changes throughout the day. Staterooms aboard Queen Anne are designed to provide guests with unrivaled luxury, particularly the renowned Grills Suites, which range from approximately 301 sq. ft to a lavish 1,440 sq. ft.

Following her stay in Singapore, Queen Anne will continue her world voyage, setting sail for Kuala Lumpur and Penang on March 26, 2025, before heading to Mauritius, South Africa, Namibia, Senegal, and Tenerife in Spain. The ship will ultimately complete her maiden journey back to Southampton on April 27, 2025.

Excitingly, from February 2026, Queen Anne will return to Singapore, offering a variety of one-way sailings. This includes a five-night trip from Singapore to Hong Kong as part of her world voyage, which is currently sold out. Future trips will also feature a 23-night journey from Singapore to Sydney, starting at $3,766 SGD per person, and a 43-night voyage to Los Angeles priced from $7,340 SGD. However, prices exclude taxes and other port expenses, which begin at around $344.98 SGD.

Distinct from conventional cruise offerings, Queen Anne has opted for one-way trip configurations, introducing travelers to stunning destinations such as Africa, the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Iceland, and France. The ship’s interior decor is highlighted by colonial-inspired designs, featuring grand elements like crystal chandeliers, checkered tiling, and wood furnishings, perfectly complimenting the lifestyle amenities onboard.

Guests aboard Queen Anne will enjoy premium entertainment options focused more on leisure and education than traditional recreation. Activities such as fencing classes, dance workshops, yoga sessions, art classes, and wine appreciation are part of the enriching cruise experience.

Dining options span a range of styles, including British-inspired traditional fare, elegant afternoon tea, and upscale dining in specialty restaurants, with an emphasis on high-quality food and scenic views at every meal.

With its unique offerings and adventurous itineraries, Cunard’s Queen Anne is set to impress travelers looking for luxury cruising experiences. The anticipation for this ship’s voyages will continue to build as she takes to the seas again in 2026, promising a new chapter in the world of luxury cruises.
