The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to conclude the registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 as the deadline fast approaches on March 22, 2025. Interested candidates who have not yet finalized their applications need to act quickly and can register via the official NTA CUET website at cuet.nta.nic.in. The NTA has urged all eligible candidates to complete their registration to ensure they have a fair chance at securing a spot in the examination.

CUET UG 2025 is set to take place in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from May 8 to June 1, 2025. Candidates can expect a rigorous testing schedule spread over various days, including multiple shifts to accommodate the number of examinees and subject combinations. The exam will cover a wide array of 37 subjects and will be conducted in 13 Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

As per NTA announcements, candidates can pay the application fee through various online payment methods, including Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. The application fees are categorized as follows: ₹1000 for General candidates wishing to apply for up to three subjects, ₹900 for OBC (NCL) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, ₹800 for SC, ST, PwD, PwBD, and Third gender candidates, and a steep ₹4500 for candidates applying from outside India.

The registration fee structure also indicates that candidates planning to choose additional subjects will incur additional charges; General candidates will pay ₹400 for each extra subject, while OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates will pay ₹375, and SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates will pay ₹350 for each extra subject selected. Additionally, international applicants will pay ₹1800 for any subjects beyond the initial three.

Once registered, candidates will have the opportunity to modify their applications during the correction window open from March 24 to March 26, 2025, allowing for any necessary changes before the final submission. NTA officials have emphasized the importance of completing and double-checking all information accurately before submitting the application to avoid any disqualifications. "Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the instructions in our Information Bulletin before completing their application forms," a spokesperson from the NTA stated.

For the CUET UG 2025 examination, eligibility criteria require candidates to have passed or be appearing in their 12th-grade examinations from a recognized board. The NTA encourages a wide range of candidates to participate and has not imposed any age limit for those applying this year.
