CUET PG 2025 Exam Schedule Released

Examination slated from March 13 to March 31, with key details on admit card availability.

The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 is gearing up to take place from March 13 to March 31, 2025, under the auspices of the National Testing Agency (NTA). This pivotal examination opens the doors for students seeking admission to postgraduate programs across various Central Universities, State Universities, and other participating institutions throughout India. It provides students with a streamlined, single-window opportunity to pursue diverse PG courses.

The CUET PG 2025 will be administered as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across multiple cities. Candidates will be able to partake in the examination with the convenience and familiarity of computer-based formats, making it easier to handle for many test-takers. According to the official notification, this year's examination will occur over multiple shifts each day for the duration of the exam window.

The examination schedule is structured to run from March 13 through March 31, 2025, allowing ample time for candidates to prepare and organize their application materials. This year, there are three daily shifts allocated for the tests, accommodating the anticipated number of applicants.

According to the National Testing Agency, the CUET PG Admit Card will be available approximately three to four days before the exam date on their official website, exams.nta.ac.in. Candidates will need to download their admit cards to verify their exam date, shift timings, and examination center details. It's critically important for candidates to secure this document, as it serves as necessary identification for entry to the examination room.

Candidates can expect the exam structure to consist of 75 objective-type questions, with each question carrying four marks. Importantly, for every incorrect answer provided, one mark will be deducted. The total duration of the test is set at 90 minutes, challenging the candidates to manage their time effectively.

For this year's CUET PG, all questions will be asked either in English or Hindi, except for specific language-based exams, which may have their unique language requirements. This bilingual medium aims to cater to the diverse linguistic backgrounds of students across the country, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for all candidates.

The admit card is not just another piece of paper; it is, rather, one of the most important documents candidates must possess on exam day. Beyond being required for entrance, it provides detailed information about the exam venue and timing. Importantly, no physical admit cards will be dispatched via post or email, placing the onus on candidates to download, print, and bring their admit cards along with valid photo identification proof to the exam center.

Once the admit card is released, candidates can obtain it through the following simple steps:

  • Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in.

  • Locate the link labeled “CUET PG 2025 Admit Card” on the homepage.

  • Enter the necessary login details, including your application number, date of birth, and security PIN (if required).

  • After logging in, click on the Download Admit Card button.

  • Save the admit card as a PDF for convenient access.

Preparing for the CUET PG 2025 involves not only studying the relevant academic material but also ensuring all logistical arrangements are secured well before the exam dates. Students must focus on familiarizing themselves with the exam format and details outlined by the NTA to maximize their chances of success.

With just weeks to go, now is the time for candidates to finalize preparations and set their study schedules to tackle the challenges of the CUET PG 2025.
