CRC Sports Introduces Three New Swiss Sports Brands

The addition of McKINLEY, energetics, and PRO TOUCH aims to enhance the sports ecosystem in Thailand.

CRC Sports, a prominent player in Thailand's retail and distribution of sports apparel and equipment, has recently secured the rights to distribute three high-quality Swiss sports brands: McKINLEY, energetics, and PRO TOUCH. This strategic move aims to expand the sports market and create a comprehensive Sport Ecosystem that caters to sports enthusiasts at all levels.

On March 28, 2025, CRC Sports, part of Central Retail, announced its new venture under the INTERSPORT banner, marking a significant step in its mission to enhance its leadership in the sports retail sector. The introduction of these three brands is designed to strengthen its position as a leading distributor of sports apparel and equipment in Thailand, ensuring that customers have access to a wide range of high-quality products.

According to Mr. Alecsander Ambell, the Group Managing Director of CRC Sports, the company is committed to creating a robust business ecosystem that encompasses brand management, community building, and comprehensive access to sports products across various platforms. "We aim to be the top choice for customers when they think of sports, providing them with products that meet their needs and preferences," he stated.

Ms. Wiyada Boonruangphakorn, Senior Assistant Managing Director for Marketing at CRC Sports, emphasized the importance of inclusivity in sports. "Our brand direction, 'Move you, Move Sports,' is about ensuring that people of all generations and backgrounds have access to quality sports products. By offering a diverse range of price points, we can reach more customers and help them enjoy sports to the fullest," she explained.

INTERSPORT, founded in 1968 in Bern, Switzerland, began as a collaboration among ten sports retailers with the goal of establishing a strong retail network for specialized sports goods. The brand gained international recognition by serving as an official sports equipment retailer for the Olympic Games in Munich (1972), Innsbruck (1976), and Moscow (1980). Over the years, INTERSPORT expanded its operations throughout Asia, opening purchasing offices in Hong Kong and later branching out to Australia and the United States.

The three brands introduced by Supersports under the INTERSPORT umbrella are tailored to meet the diverse needs of sports enthusiasts:


  • McKINLEY: Specializing in high-quality outdoor gear and footwear, McKINLEY focuses on activities like hiking, camping, and climbing. With over 40 years of experience, the brand aims to empower adventurers to explore nature confidently. Its tagline, "Escape To Nature," reflects this mission.

  • energetics: This brand offers apparel and gear for various sports, including running, training, and yoga. For over 30 years, energetics has been committed to providing high-quality sportswear at accessible prices, allowing everyone to enjoy sports. Its tagline, "Every Athlete. Every Sport," encapsulates its inclusive philosophy.

  • PRO TOUCH: Established in 1998, PRO TOUCH specializes in sports equipment and gear for ball sports and rackets, including tennis, badminton, ping pong, and basketball. With a focus on quality and durability, PRO TOUCH has over 20 years of experience in developing products that support athletes at all levels, encouraging participation with its tagline, "Play as One."

The products from these three brands are now available at all 38 Supersports branches and at a Pop Up Store located at Supersports in Central Chidlom from March 20, 2025, to June 2025. Plans are underway to expand availability across Thailand by the end of 2025. Additionally, online shopping options are available through the Supersports website and popular platforms like Lazada and Shopee.
