As the Coffee Fellows group expands its hotel brand, it has announced plans to operate the Ates and Europa hotels in Kehl am Rhein starting on May 1, 2025. This move marks a significant step for the Coffee Fellows Hotels, which already operates several locations across Germany, including in Dortmund, Trier, and Munich.
The Coffee Fellows Hotels, known for their modern design and welcoming atmosphere, are set to enhance their presence in the dynamic border region of Kehl-Strasbourg with this new acquisition. Together, the two hotels, Ates and Europa, boast a total of 130 rooms, aimed at catering both business and leisure travelers.
The Hotel Ates, featuring 69 rooms, is scheduled to undergo a comprehensive renovation and expansion over the next two years, even while it remains operational. The updates will bring a fresh look and new facilities to the hotel, ultimately rebranding it under the Coffee Fellows name. This aligns with their slogan, "Feel at home – be at home," which aims to create a comforting environment for guests.
Meanwhile, the Hotel Europa, positioned just 500 meters from Ates, will receive a facelift in its public areas soon. The hotel, with its 61 economy rooms, serves as an important complementary option to the offerings at Ates.
Simon Schlereth, the Managing Director of Coffee Fellows Hotels, described the acquisition of Hotel Ates as a "significant step for our expansion." He elaborated that while they develop Ates as a long-term project, the Hotel Europa will enhance their capacity to cater to the high traffic in the area.
Schlereth's sentiment is echoed by Andreas Allgaier, Managing Director of Stardust Hotel GmbH & Co. KG, the company handling the leasing of both hotels. Allgaier expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, "With Coffee Fellows Hotels, we have found an experienced and reliable partner who will sustainably enhance the location of Kehl with its innovative concept."
In this strategic move, the management of Coffee Fellows aims not only at expanding its footprint but also at modernizing and elevating the hotel experience in Kehl. This project aligns with the growing demand for quality accommodations in vibrant border regions like Kehl-Strasbourg.
With the hospitality industry continuously evolving, Coffee Fellows is poised to establish itself as a key player in this market. Their expansion will likely bring new employment opportunities and contribute positively to the local economy in Kehl am Rhein.
The integration of Ates and Europa into their portfolio underlines Coffee Fellows Hotels' commitment to investing in future-oriented hotel projects. As they pair modern aesthetics with heartfelt hospitality, the company seeks to attract a diverse clientele, ranging from business travelers to tourists seeking unique lodging experiences.
As the opening date approaches, anticipation builds in the local community for the transformation of these hotels. Stakeholders expect that this expansion could significantly boost interest in the area and attract even more visitors, further enhancing the local economy.
As Coffee Fellows Hotels prepares for this new chapter beginning May 1, 2025, the hospitality group looks forward to contributing positively to the ongoing development of Kehl am Rhein.
