Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour Returns For 2024

The festive tour promises to spread joy and support hunger relief during the holiday season

The holiday season is right around the corner, and with it brings one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour. The festive extravaganza, which has delighted countless fans over the years, is making its much-celebrated return for 2024. This year, Coca-Cola is upping the ante, promising a tour set against the enchanting backdrop of a winter wonderland and, for the first time, supporting load of good.

Set to kick off later this month, the tour will also be lending its support to FareShare, the UK's largest charity dedicated to tackling hunger and food waste. The cheerful initiative means for every person who attends one of the tour's numerous stops, Coca-Cola will donate the equivalent of one meal on their behalf. With this bold commitment, the company aims to contribute as many as one million meals to those in need this Christmas season, underscoring its sustained commitment to kindness and community spirit.

This year's tour revolves around the theme "The World Needs More Santas." The campaign encourages everyone to embrace their inner Santa, with the idea of spreading joy and kindness to those around them. Visitors to the truck will find themselves under canopies of shimmering lights, surrounded by the merry sound of festive music. Beyond taking photos with the iconic Coca-Cola truck, individuals can partake in festive games, experience lucky dips for exclusive merchandise, and enjoy delicious seasonal offerings from food trucks, all accompanied by the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola Great Britain, Florence Wheatley, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming tour. She noted, "Coca-Cola has and remains synonymous with Christmas, with many people eagerly awaiting the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert to create a little festive magic. Through our partnership with FareShare, we hope to make a meaningful impact this season by reducing hunger and food waste—one act of kindness at a time."

That's not all. The Coca-Cola 2024 Christmas campaign will feature additional exciting components to warm the hearts of many. For example, the much-loved ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert will hit TV screens across the nation starting this November, marking the start of the festive season.

This year, viewers can expect something special, as Coca-Cola is set to premiere the first-ever AI-generated reinterpretation of the classic advert. This innovative twist on the beloved tradition aims to capture the modern twist on Christmas magic, perhaps making it even more relatable to younger audiences.

An intriguing addition to this year's festivities is the "Create Real Magic Experience." This digital endeavor invites fans to engage with Santa through magical conversations, creating personalized, shareable snow globe animations based on cherished holiday memories. Accessing this delightful experience is as simple as scanning the QR code found on specially marked Coca-Cola bottles or cans, transforming the holiday experience for many.

The theme “The World Needs More Santas” will also return, carrying its inspirational message from last year. The campaign highlights the importance of kindness and paying it forward, encouraging individuals to be proactive during the season of giving. The accompanying soundtrack features British singer-songwriter Celeste, lending her voice to the heartfelt cover of “Anyone Can Be Santa,” which will resonate long after the season ends.

For those who might not make it to the Coca-Cola Truck Tour events, fear not! Starting from November, Coca-Cola will run promotions featuring QR codes on its packaging. Scanning these codes gives fans the chance to win Christmas shopping vouchers, ensuring everyone can partake in the holiday spirit.

With a jam-packed schedule lined up across Great Britain leading up to Christmas, fans eager to catch the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck can follow the company's official social media channels at @CocaColaGBI on Instagram and @CocaCola_GB on Twitter for updates on the tour's schedule.

Finally, FareShare's Head of Fundraising, Kirsty Ford, expressed gratitude for Coca-Cola's support. "We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. These invaluable donations help us get good-to-eat food to the people who need it rather than going to waste. Every day, the food we redistribute to over 8,000 charities strengthens communities. Coca-Cola’s generous support for FareShare is instrumental in helping people affected by the cost-of-living crisis. Thank you for helping FareShare make the food go farther," she said.

With its rich history of spotlighting seasonal joy, Coca-Cola’s Christmas Truck Tour promises to deliver moments of kindness, connection, and holiday cheer. Whether you're visiting the truck yourself or following along from home, everyone is invited to partake in the festivities and spread some holiday magic this season. Stay tuned; it’s truly the most wonderful time of the year again!
