Clover Press has officially launched a new Kickstarter campaign for The DC Art of Jorge Jiménez, a hardcover art book that showcases the stunning work of the acclaimed artist behind some of DC Comics’ most beloved characters. As of March 31, 2025, the campaign has already met its funding goal and has 24 days remaining for fans to back the project.
Jorge Jiménez, who made his American comics debut in 2011, has significantly influenced the DC universe with his dynamic art style. His impressive portfolio includes notable works on titles such as Batman, Superman, Justice League, and Super Sons. The new art book is the first in Clover Press’s DC Art of… series, which aims to celebrate the artistic contributions of key figures in the comic book industry.
“Since the Superman movie with its masterful soundtrack first caught my attention when I was a kid, I’ve been a die-hard fan of the DC Comics universe,” Jiménez expressed in a statement. “My first drawings were destined to be Batman or Superman. Being able to fulfill my dream of working with these characters and making this my job is priceless.”
Over the years, Jiménez has worked alongside some of the industry's top writers, including James Tynion IV, Chip Zdarsky, Scott Snyder, and Peter Tomasi. His collaborations have led to the creation of new characters such as Punchline, Failsafe, Ghostmaker, and Crush, while also reimagining the iconic looks of fan favorites like Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy.
The Kickstarter campaign for The DC Art of Jorge Jiménez features various tiers for backers, ranging from basic editions to signed slipcases. Retailers can also take advantage of discounted rates for multiple copies, making it an appealing option for fans and collectors alike.
