Parents must provide the following information: valid identification (like INE), Clave Única de Registro de Población (CURP), income statement showing monthly earnings not exceeding 9,500 pesos, and proof of residency, among others. On the student's side, eligibility requires the submission of the child’s birth certificate, CURP, and report cards confirming satisfactory academic performance (minimum average of 7.0) from public schools.
The scholarship is intended to ease the financial burden on families and encourage educational attendance and performance among children.
