The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) has announced the recruitment of Nagar Sainik (city soldiers) and emergency service personnel, inviting online applications until May 30, 2025. This recruitment aims to fill various vacancies under the Nagar Sena and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). Interested candidates can apply through the official Vyapam website at https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in/, where applications have been accepted since April 17, 2025. The exam is tentatively scheduled for June 22, 2025, with centers set up in Raipur, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, and Ambikapur.
In addition to the Nagar Sainik recruitment, CG Vyapam is also conducting the Deputy Engineer recruitment exam on April 27, 2025. This exam will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM at four centers in Jagdalpur. The designated centers include Government Kakatiya PG College, Government Engineering College, Government Danteshwari PG Girls College, and Government Maharani Laxmibai Kanya Higher Secondary School. All candidates are required to bring their original admit cards to the examination, as stated by the local authorities.
For the smooth conduct of the Deputy Engineer exam, Deputy Collector Mayanand Chandra will serve as the nodal officer, while Deputy Collector Satyendra Kumar Banjare will act as the assistant nodal officer. Dr. Anil Shrivastava, the principal of Government Kakatiya PG College, is appointed as the coordinator, and Dr. Ajay Singh Thakur from the same college will be the assistant coordinator.
CG Vyapam has also released admit cards for the Pre-Polytechnic Test (PPT) and the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) entrance exams. Candidates can receive the admit card link via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. However, a recent incident raised concerns as seven students were caught impersonating others during exams, highlighting the ongoing issues with exam integrity.
Examinees are advised to arrive at the exam center at least one hour prior to the scheduled time and must carry original identification proof. The Pre-Engineering Test (PET) is set to take place on May 8, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, while the Pharmacy entrance exam (PPHT) will be held in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Remarkably, residents of Chhattisgarh are not required to pay any fees for these entrance exams, although last year, the number of applicants for PET was lower than the total number of available engineering seats.
On another front, CG Vyapam has launched the recruitment process for the Assistant Development Extension Officer (ADEO) for 2025, under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. A total of 200 vacancies are available, which include 193 regular positions and backlog posts for Scheduled Tribes and visually impaired candidates. The online application process commenced on April 7, 2025, and will close on May 2, 2025. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with preference given to those holding a postgraduate degree or diploma in Rural Development, who will receive additional marks in the merit list.
Applicants are reminded that all original mark sheets and certificates must be submitted by the application deadline, and any qualifications obtained after this date will not be accepted. The minimum age for applicants is 20 years, while the maximum age is 30 years as of January 1, 2025. However, local residents of Chhattisgarh can benefit from an extended age limit of 35 years, with further relaxations available for unemployed educated youth, SC/ST/OBC candidates, and female applicants.
While the official fee structure for ADEO recruitment is yet to be announced, candidates are encouraged to stay updated by visiting the official CG Vyapam website. The selection process for this recruitment will include a written examination, followed by the preparation of a merit list and document verification.
As the recruitment landscape continues to evolve in Chhattisgarh, prospective candidates are urged to remain vigilant regarding application deadlines and examination schedules. With multiple opportunities available, including positions in emergency services, engineering, and rural development, the CG Vyapam recruitment process represents a significant chance for many to secure employment in the state.
