The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is set to declare the much-anticipated Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for 2025 today, May 7, at 3 PM. This announcement will be made by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai, during a press conference in Raipur. Students across the state, numbering over 5.71 lakh, are eagerly awaiting their results, which will be available online.
Students who appeared for the CGBSE exams can check their results on the official websites: cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in. To access their results, students will need to enter their roll numbers and other required details such as their date of birth and a security captcha. In addition to online access, the board also provides an SMS facility for students to receive their results directly on their mobile phones.
The CGBSE Class 10 examinations took place from March 3 to March 24, 2025, while the Class 12 examinations were held from March 1 to March 28, 2025. Students are not only looking forward to their individual scores but also to insights about the overall performance of their peers, including pass percentages and the names of the top scorers.
Last year, the overall pass percentage for the Class 10 exams was 75.61%, while 80.74% of students passed the Class 12 exams. In 2024, Mehak Agrawal from Mahasamund topped the Class 12 results with an impressive 97.40% score, followed closely by Kopal Ambasth from Baloda Bazar, who secured 97%. The results from previous years have shown a steady increase in pass percentages, raising expectations for this year's results.
As the clock ticks down to the results announcement, students are advised to be patient and prepared for potential website traffic as many will be trying to access their scores simultaneously. In case the official websites experience heavy traffic, students can utilize alternative methods to check their results, including the DigiLocker app and other educational portals.
For those who may not be satisfied with their results, the CGBSE offers options for re-evaluation and rechecking. Students can apply for supplementary exams if they fail to meet the passing criteria. The details regarding the supplementary exam schedule will be announced following the results declaration.
The CGBSE's commitment to transparency and accessibility is evident in its efforts to provide multiple platforms for students to check their results. The board has also established 36 evaluation centers across the state to ensure timely and accurate assessment of the answer sheets.
As the results are about to be released, the education department is preparing to share detailed statistics during the press conference, including district-wise performance and gender-wise pass percentages. This year’s announcement is particularly significant as it reflects the hard work and dedication of students and educators alike during a challenging academic year.
In a related note, the board has made provisions for students who wish to challenge their scores through a rechecking process. This allows students who feel their marks do not reflect their performance to seek a review of their answer sheets.
With the results set to go live at 3 PM today, students are encouraged to stay updated through the official channels and be ready to celebrate their achievements or plan their next steps based on their results.
As the day unfolds, the excitement and anxiety among students will soon give way to the reality of their academic performances, marking a pivotal moment in their educational journeys. The CGBSE results for 2025 promise to be a significant chapter in the lives of thousands of students across Chhattisgarh.
