The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations on May 7, 2025. Students across the state can access their scores by visiting the official websites: cgbse.nic.in, results.cg.nic.in, and education.indianexpress.com. The results were announced by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during a press conference held earlier today.
Approximately 5 lakh students took part in these examinations, which were conducted in March 2025. The Class 10 exams took place from March 3 to March 24, while the Class 12 exams were held from March 1 to March 28, 2025. Students can check their results starting at 3 PM today.
To view their results, students need to follow a straightforward process. They should navigate to one of the official websites, click on the appropriate link for either Class 10 or Class 12 results, and enter their roll number along with any other required details. After submitting this information, students will be able to download their scorecards. It is advisable for students to keep both digital and physical copies of their provisional mark sheets for future reference, especially when applying for further studies or entrance exams.
In the previous year, a total of 2.5 lakh students appeared for the CGBSE Class 10 and 12 exams. The results from last year showed that girls outperformed boys in both classes. In the Class 12 exams, girls achieved a pass percentage of 83.72%, while boys had a pass percentage of 76.91%. Similarly, in the Class 10 exams, 79.35% of girls passed, compared to 71.12% of boys.
For the current year, the CGBSE has also provided an option for students to check their Class 12 results via SMS. Students can send a text message formatted as “CG12 Roll Number” to the number 56263 to receive their results directly on their mobile phones. This feature is particularly useful for those who may face difficulties accessing the internet or prefer a quicker method to obtain their scores.
