Keaton Muldoon, 23, of Tuckers Lane, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, has been charged with the murder of Armstrong and attempted murder concerning the injured rider. He was apprehended by the Derbyshire Police and has been remanded to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court. Muldoon's court appearance is scheduled soon, with authorities emphasizing the seriousness of the charges.

Officers confirmed the vehicle involved was identified as a blue Land Rover Discovery and had been found over the weekend, undergoing forensic examinations. A remarkable reward of £20,000 was earlier posted by Crimestoppers to encourage anyone with key information about the incident to come forward.
