The much-anticipated dance show "Let's Dance" is set to return for its 18th season on February 21, 2025, and fans are eager to witness this beloved competition once again. Each week, celebrity participants will hit the dance floor, aiming to win the coveted title of "Dancing Star 2025" alongside their professional dance partners, all under the watchful eye of the esteemed judging panel.

This season will feature 14 contestants, promising to bring their unique styles and backgrounds to the competition. Among them is Jeanette Biedermann (44), known for her hits from the 2000s and her acting role on the soap opera "Good Times, Bad Times" (GZSZ). She expresses her enthusiasm for the show, stating, "I look forward to 'Let's Dance' because it has been one of my favorite shows on TV for years."

Another notable contestant is Sandra Safiulov, popularly known as SelfieSandra. The 25-year-old content creator and podcaster is excited but admits to feeling apprehensive: "After 'Let's Dance', I'm going to walk away as a new person who hopefully sticks to a sport." Her approach to life echoes her self-deprecative humor, which has endeared her to many fans.

Joining Biedermann and Safiulov is Marie Mouroum, the daring stuntwoman and actress best known for her roles in blockbuster hits like "Star Wars" and "James Bond: No Time to Die". Mouroum comments, "I feel honored to learn to dance professionally at an established show like 'Let's Dance'.” Her background will surely captivate audiences.

Reality TV star Leyla Lahouar, famed from shows like "Ex on the Beach" and as the winner of "Celebrity Big Brother", aims to push herself beyond her limits: "I am neither the sportiest nor the best dancer," she admits. "I’m excited about this challenge at 'Let's Dance'.” Paola Maria, another participant and renowned social media influencer, remarked how surreal it feels to be stepping onto the show: "It still feels completely unreal to me. I watched this with my mom and now here I am participating.”

Christine Neubauer, well-known for her roles on television, is not afraid of the challenge but expresses sizable respect for it as she asserts, "No, I have no fear but tremendous respect". She wishes to emerge victorious and break records, wanting to become the oldest winner of "Let's Dance". Another familiar face, Simone Thomalla, reiterates this sentiment by sharing her excitement and respect for the competition: "With great joy and even greater respect, I take on the challenge of 'Let's Dance!'"

On the culinary front, Roland Trettl, the Austrian TV chef, who has entertained audiences on shows like “The Taste”, is ready to embrace something new: "After culinary arts and love, dancing is the final piece I need to feel complete. There are few things emotionally moving as good dancing – I want to learn it!"

Comedian Osan Yaran, known for his humorous takes on cultural topics, eagerly anticipates his experience, saying, "It probably ends with nosebleeds, yet I expect to gain completely different body awareness and finally confront my wife on the dance floor!"

The youngest contestant, Diego Pooth, son of media personality Verona Pooth, sees this as more than mere entertainment. "I will definitely have to leave my comfort zone to impress. I will make up for my lack of talent with hard work and discipline," he stated. His competitive spirit evokes high hopes for viewers.

It also features Taliso Engel, the celebrated para-swimmer, who, along with his impressive athletic achievements, aims to experience dancing's unique physical demands, saying, "I have both respect for the physical strain different from what I’m used to from swimming and excitement about breaking out of my comfort zone."

Fabian Hambüchen, the gold medal-winning gymnast, is motivated to give his all as he enters the dance arena: "I will do my best to see how far I can go," he declared confidently, foreshadowing intense competition.

Further diversifying the lineup is Marc Eggers, well-known from Ballermann entertainment, who has previously participated in dance competitions. He is eager to showcase his skills, stating, "Dance, more than anything else, has always provided me with strength and support during my toughest hours."

Finally, contemporary rock singer Ben Zucker, who found fame with hits like "Na und?!", is ready to offer his all on the dance floor. "'Let's Dance' will be the ultimate challenge – I will laugh, curse, sweat, and give it my all. The only thing I want is to rock this!"

Fans can look forward to watching the show every Friday night on RTL, where viewers get to participate through voting alongside professional judges Motsi Mabuse, Jorge González, and Joachim Llambi, who return to guide the contestants. With each elimination round, the competition intensifies, creating unprecedented drama.
