The 2025 Future Trends Awards Ceremony recently showcased remarkable achievements from various companies committed to sustainability, innovation, and corporate social responsibility.
First up, OspoSphara Public Company Limited, known as OSP, has made significant strides over the years. This year, they earned the prestigious title of "Industry Mover" and secured entry on the "Sustainability Yearbook 2025" by S&P Global. The company's sustainability assessment score has soared by 27 percent, improving from 65 to 83 out of 100. This achievement stems from their comprehensive sustainability initiatives, which focus on transparent public disclosures verified by external auditors, effective water management, responsible supply chain practices, and enhanced digital management and cybersecurity.
OSP also took home four awards at the Future Trends Awards 2025. These include the award for "Leading of ESG in Environmental Product" for their "Eco-friendly Glass Bottles," which reduce packaging weight by 15 percent without compromising durability, thereby minimizing carbon footprint.
Continuing their focus on health, OSP was recognized for "Leading of ESG in Social Product," emphasizing 99 percent of their beverages having less than 6 percent sugar content and 65 percent of their health-oriented products containing no added sugar. They also received the "Leading of ESG in People" award, highlighting their commitment to employee development through the ACT (Achievement, Consumer Focus, and Teamwork) principles, creating sustainable growth within the company.
Looking to the future, OSP has set ambitious sustainability goals, including carbon neutrality by 2050, and has been involved with the Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) since 2024, receiving a B rating for climate change management, showcasing their resolve to combat global environmental concerns.
Another notable winner at the Future Trends Awards was Global Green Chemical Company Limited (GGC), which received "The Best of ESG" award for its remarkable sustainable business practices. This accolade, bestowed by Future Trends, acknowledges companies demonstrating exceptional commitment to ESG principles. GGC's innovation and strong brand responsibility have propelled them to the forefront of the sustainable business movement.
GGC's Managing Director, Kritsada Prasertsukho, conveyed, "GGC is committed to sustainable business growth under our strategy of 'Strong, Grow, Sustain.' We prioritize ESG principles to create widespread benefits and value for all sectors." Efforts include sustainable palm oil production aimed at climate mitigation and adaptation and empowering small farmers with knowledge and carbon footprint metrics.
The awards ceremony, held on February 27, 2025, at Bhiraj Hall, BITEC Bangna, highlighted the synergy between corporations and sustainability advocates, fostering shared success.
Another front-runner, TPBI Public Company Limited, also secured "The Best of ESG" award. The company specializes in sustainable packaging solutions and demonstrates leadership through responsible operations. According to Saksit Burisutthanakul, TPBI’s Chief Marketing Officer, the award exemplifies their commitment to responsible practices and innovative approaches to package design using recycled plastics and mono-materials, cutting greenhouse emissions by 30%. "We are continuously improving and creating environmentally friendly solutions to meet global market demands," said Burisutthanakul.
Finally, Five Star was honored at the Future Trends Corporates Awards 2025 as "The Most Future Brand." Their commitment to balancing innovative franchise development with environmental responsibility highlights their objective of adapting to changing consumer behaviors. Managing Director Sunthorn Jaksukarn quipped, "This award reflects our comprehensive collaboration with clients and partners, strengthening our commitment to sustainable growth." Five Star has expanded to 10,000 branches globally and focuses on quality food products and packaging.
