Carnaval season is back, and residents of Brabant are gearing up for five exciting days of festivities planned from February 28 to March 4, 2025. Celebrations will include parades, music, and activities for all ages, making it the perfect time to join the local fun.
This year’s Carnaval agenda is filled with events catering to diverse audiences. Festivities kick off on February 28 with several highlight events across various locations. For families, Den Boogaard will host special children’s activities, ensuring the younger audience can partake joyously. “You can watch the best carnival artists on the big screen and toast to a beautiful carnival. Make sure to bring your kids, as there will be a bounce house and arts and crafts table for them,” said Harold Buijnsters, who organized the family-friendly events.
On the same day, revelers can also enjoy the Beer Cantus Moergestel, where beer lovers will come together, followed by closing entertainment from the energetic band Collectivcombo. Tickets for this event have been flying off the shelves, showcasing the high demand for such lively gatherings.
Saturday, March 1, marks the official opening of Carnaval with exciting activities across Sint Jansplein. Senior citizens can also find entertainment at Den Boogaard during the Carnival Afternoon geared just for them.
The week continues on Monday, March 3, with ‘dweilen’ through Moergestel, showcasing songs and music mediums as different groups stroll around. A DJ will entertain patrons at Sint Jansplein, along with more activities for kids at Den Boogaard. This communal activity reinforces the celebratory spirit heralded by Carnaval.
Then on Tuesday, March 4, delicious festivities commence with a group lunch at noon for all who wish to partake, followed again by more children’s activities at Den Boogaard. People throughout the community are encouraged to participate and mingle, enveloping themselves within the carnival enthusiasm.
For those seeking other entertainment, Café de Stapmolen promises thrilling festivities filled with music and revelry.
