More huge names confirmed to play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard on Sunday, June 15th were revealed on Capital Breakfast this morning by Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Siân Welby. Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tate McRae, Myles Smith, JADE, James Hype, Remember Monday, and Rita Ora were confirmed to play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard, following yesterday’s announcement that Mariah Carey leads the star-studded line-up with Benson Boone, KSI, Lola Young, Busted vs McFly, Zara Larsson, Reneé Rapp, and Jessie J all on the bill.
It was revealed live on air this morning that American hip hop duo Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff will play a one-off UK exclusive show at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard! The two-time GRAMMY award-winning duo are known for their hit singles ‘Summertime’, ‘Miami’, ‘Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It’, ‘Boom Shake The Room’, ‘Men In Black’, and the iconic noughties TV show soundtrack ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’. Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff will bring their funk sound and lyrical spins to the UK’s biggest summer party, playing to Capital listeners for the first time ever!
Capital announced this morning that Global Award-winner Tate McRae is set to play Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Tate McRae is a huge hit with Capital listeners having played at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard back in 2023. Tate McRae’s massive hit ‘Greedy’ catapulted her to stardom, and with the release of her brand new third studio album ‘So Close to What,’ 2025 is set to be another sensational year for her. BRIT Award-winner JADE is set to return to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard this summer. Global pop icon Rita Ora returns to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard this summer, having previously wowed Wembley crowds in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019. With over 10 billion streams, four UK #1s, and a record-breaking 13 Top 10 hits, Rita Ora is one of Britain’s biggest stars, and she is set to bring her unstoppable energy and chart-topping anthems back to the Ball.
DJ and producer James Hype will bring his futuristic set to the Ball, with his summer soundtrack. Known for ‘Ferrari’, ‘Drums’, and ‘More Than Friends’, James Hype will have all the party vibes when he gets behind the deck to play to 80,000 Capital listeners!
Capital announced that Remember Monday will also join the line-up to play at this year’s Ball. The British country-pop girl group rose to fame after appearing on The Voice UK in 2019. The trio are set to take the stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 as the UK’s entry, with their song ‘What The Hell Just Happened’.
