Two of the most innovative players in the automotive sector, BYD and Xiaomi, have made headlines by launching new electric vehicle models this March. BYD officially unveiled the Sea Lion 07 DM-i on March 2, showcasing its latest advancements aimed at the mid-size SUV market. Meanwhile, Xiaomi reported phenomenal early sales figures for its recently released SU7 Ultra, surpassing 15,000 confirmed orders within days.

The BYD Sea Lion 07 DM-i has been positioned as a fresh entrant among mid-size SUVs, with anticipated prices ranging between 200,000 to 250,000 yuan. This new vehicle boasts several innovative features, including the DiPilot 300 integrated driving system, which uses advanced laser technology to assist with various driving conditions.
