Burger King Japan Expands With New Store Openings

The fast-food giant aims for 600 locations by 2028 with fresh openings across Osaka and Nara.

Burger King Japan is extending its footprint with the upcoming opening of two new locations, marking significant milestones for the fast-food chain's expansion strategy. On February 28, 2025, the Burger King AEON Kaizuka store will open its doors, followed closely by the Burger King AEON Mall Kashihara store on March 1, 2025.

According to Kazuhira Nomura, President of Burger King Japan Holdings, "With the opening of these new locations, we will surpass 60 stores in the Kansai region and continue our expansion efforts aiming for 600 stores by 2028." The AEON Mall Kaizuka store will be located at 74-2 Jizodou, Kaizuka City, Osaka, and is set to operate from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
