The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to declare the Intermediate Annual Examination results for the year 2025 on March 25 at 1:15 PM. Hon’ble Minister of Education, Bihar, Sunil Kumar, will make the official announcement, a confirmation provided by Anand Kishor, Chairman of BSEB. The event will also see participation from S. Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department of Bihar.
Students who appeared for the BSEB Class 12 board examinations can access their results online through the official websites: www.interresult2025.com and https://interbiharboard.com. For a smooth result-checking experience, candidates are advised to have their roll number and other required details on hand.
After the results are announced, students will be able to download their scorecards and proceed with the admission process for higher education. Furthermore, those dissatisfied with their results will have the option to apply for re-evaluation or to participate in compartment exams, following the guidelines set by the board.
The BSEB has confirmed that a considerable number of students participated in the Class 12 examinations this year, with a total registration of 12,92,313 students, comprising 6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys. The university took significant measures to ensure an orderly examination process, conducting the exams at 1,677 centers across the state.
Historically, the results have been released on time, and students can expect reliable outcomes as evident from the pass percentages in previous years: 87.21% in 2024, 83.73% in 2023, 80.15% in 2022, 78.04% in 2021, and 80.59% in 2020, with 79.76% in 2019. Furthermore, the names of the top scorers for each stream will be announced in a press conference, providing a platform for recognizing student achievements.
Last year, the topper for the Science stream, Mritunjay Kumar, achieved an impressive score of 96.2%, while Priya Kumari topped the Commerce stream with 95.60%. Such high achievers set a benchmark for this year's candidates eagerly awaiting the results.
Students are urged to check their results promptly and download their scorecards after they become available. Attention to details will be critical during this process; ensuring accurate entry of roll numbers and codes can facilitate a smooth checking experience.
In addition to the official release of results, students have the opportunity to register on the Hindustan Times education portal to receive instant alerts regarding their results. This pre-registration option aims to keep students informed and minimize anxiety on the awaiting date.
With the declaration of results just around the corner, many students are buzzing with anticipation. The board has fully prepared for a seamless experience for all candidates. The communication channels have been established through both the website and affiliated news portals to ensure that students remain updated about the announcement schedule.
As students look forward to their scores, those who believe their exam performance did not meet their expectations will have the option of compartment exams later in the year, allowing another opportunity to pass Class 12. This flexibility from the BSEB reflects their commitment to assisting students in achieving their goals.
The Bihar School Examination Board encourages all students to stay connected with their platforms for further information post-results, as specific guidelines for re-evaluation and compartment exams will be released shortly after the results.
The BSEB has ensured that all logistics around the examination results are in place and ready for implementation on March 25, bringing a sigh of relief to students and parents alike as they await the final academic outcomes of a challenging year.
