Bihar Board Set To Announce Class 10 Results Soon

Results for approximately 15.85 lakh students expected by March 31

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is poised to announce the much-anticipated Class 10 matriculation exam results imminently, with reports suggesting a release date of March 31, 2025. This year, approximately 15.85 lakh students participated in the exams, which were conducted from February 17 to 25, 2025. The board has yet to confirm the exact time of the results, but it is expected to provide updates via its official social media channels.

Students can access their results on the official BSEB website, biharboardonline.com, as well as on results.biharboardonline.com and bsebmatric.org. The board has previously released the answer key on March 6, allowing students to raise any objections until March 10.

Last year, the results were declared on March 31 at 1:30 PM, and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 82.92%. The BSEB Chairman, Anand Kishor, has indicated that the results will be announced either in the last week of March or the first week of April.

As students await their results, there are specific steps they need to follow to check and download their scorecards. Here’s how:

  • Visit the official BSEB website at biharboardonline.com.

  • Click on the link for the BSEB Class 10 Result 2025.

  • Enter the required credentials, including roll number and date of birth.

  • Submit the information to view your result.

  • Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

In addition to the online method, students can also receive their results via SMS. They need to send a message in the format ‘BIHAR10 ROLL NUMBER’ to the number 56263, and the result will be sent back to their mobile phone.

For students, achieving a passing score is crucial. To pass the Class 10 examination, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject. Those who fall short will have the option to take compartment exams to improve their scores.

Last year, the top performer was Shivankar Kumar from Purnia's District School, who achieved a remarkable 97.80% (489 marks). Adarsh Kumar from V High School in Samastipur ranked second with 97.60% (488 marks). These students received significant rewards for their achievements, including cash prizes and laptops.

The BSEB has a history of increasing pass percentages over the years. The overall pass rate for the BSEB Class 10 exam in 2023 was 81.04%, which was an improvement from 79.88% in 2022, 78.17% in 2021, and 80.59% in 2020. This upward trend reflects the board's ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and examination processes.

The BSEB is also preparing to release Class 12 results, which were announced on March 25, 2025. The pass percentages for the intermediate exams were impressive, with BSEB inter Science recording 89.66%, Commerce at 94.77%, and Arts at 82.75%. Priya Jaiswal topped the Science stream, while Raushani Kumari led in Commerce, and Ankita Kumari and Shakib Shah shared the top position in Arts.

As the results draw near, students and parents alike are filled with anticipation and anxiety. The BSEB's announcement will not only determine the academic future of many but will also reflect the hard work and dedication of both students and educators throughout the year.

In summary, the BSEB Class 10 matric results are expected to be announced by March 31, 2025, with approximately 15.85 lakh students eagerly awaiting their scores. The board will provide updates through its official channels, and students should be prepared to check their results online or via SMS.
