The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to release its much-anticipated Class 12 results today, March 25, 2025, at 1:15 PM. Over 12.92 lakh students have been eagerly awaiting this announcement after their exams were conducted from February 1 to February 15, 2025. This year, the examination saw 1,677 centers across the state with 6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys participating.
The results will be announced by Bihar's state education minister, Sunil Kumar, during a press conference at the BSEB's office in Patna. Additionally, BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore will disclose crucial details including the overall pass percentage and the list of the top achievers across different streams, allowing students to access the results through several platforms.
To check their marks, students can visit the official BSEB portals: interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com. They will need to enter their roll number and date of birth to access their individual scorecards. A provisional scorecard will be available for download immediately following the announcement.
In the previous year, 2024, the overall pass percentage was reported at 87.21%, with girls outperforming boys across all streams. The streams had varying pass percentages, with the science stream at 87.80%, arts at 86.15%, and commerce at a notable 94.88%. Observers are optimistic that this year may see similar or even improved results given the increasing trends in academic performance.
BSEB has made provision for students who may not pass one or more subjects, providing a chance for re-examination through compartmental exams. The announcement includes vital statistics, including how many students appeared for the exams and stream-wise toppers from the previous year.
In 2024, the art stream witnessed Tushar Kumar topping with an impressive score of 96.4%. The commerce stream was led by Priya Kumari, who achieved 95.6%. Students can also receive their results via SMS. They simply need to type "BIHAR12 " and send it to 56263 to receive their results directly.
