The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the results for the Bihar Board Class 10 examinations, revealing a noteworthy overall pass percentage of 82.11%. The results were made public on March 29, 2025, at 12 PM during a press conference held at Sinha Library in Patna, where Bihar State Education Minister Sunil Kumar declared the results in the presence of BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore and other officials.

This year, the BSEB conducted the Class 10 board exams from February 17 to February 25, 2025, at 1,677 centers across the state. A total of 15.85 lakh students participated in the examinations, comprising 8,18,122 female and 7,67,746 male candidates. The exams were organized in two daily sessions, with the first session running from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the second from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Among the standout performers, three students—Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma—topped the results, each achieving an impressive score of 97.80%. This year, a total of 123 students made it to the top 10, with 63 boys and 60 girls represented. The results also indicated that 2,53,754 students secured the first division, while 2,29,958 and 1,38,144 students obtained the second and third divisions, respectively.

Students eager to check their results can do so by visiting the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com. For those facing difficulties accessing the site due to high traffic, alternative websites have been set up to accommodate the influx of users. These include biharboardonline.com, matricresult2025.com, and matricbiharboard.com. Students can also receive their results via SMS by sending a text message formatted as "BIHAR10 ROLL-NUMBER" to 56263.

The BSEB has made provisions for students who wish to review their answer sheets. The application for scrutiny will be available from April 4 to April 12, 2025. Additionally, students who did not pass will have the opportunity to participate in compartment exams, anticipated to take place in May 2025, with results expected to be released by May 31, 2025.

In a significant move to reward academic excellence, the Bihar School Examination Board has announced an increase in the prize money for top-performing students. This year, the financial reward for first place has doubled from one lakh to two lakhs, along with additional incentives such as laptops and scholarships.

As the results are now available, students are encouraged to verify their scores and ensure all details are accurate. The online marksheet includes essential information such as the student's name, date of birth, roll code, registration number, subjects, and marks obtained. It is crucial for students to check for any discrepancies and report them to the authorities promptly.

The BSEB's efforts to streamline the result announcement process and provide multiple access points for students reflect a commitment to improving the examination experience. The board aims to minimize the issues faced in previous years, where website crashes due to high traffic were common. With these enhancements, students can expect a smoother experience when accessing their results.

As of now, the Bihar Board Class 10 results for 2025 stand as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, educators, and the examination board. With a solid pass percentage and a commendable number of top performers, the results not only mark the culmination of a significant academic journey for the students but also set the stage for their future endeavors.
