The BSEB 10th Result 2025 is just around the corner, with officials from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announcing the results will be declared in April 2025. This year, lakhs of students participated in the Class 10 exams, held from February 17 to February 25. These students are eagerly awaiting their results, which will be available on the official website, matricbiharboard.com.
BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore confirmed that the official result will be announced in the first week of April and has urged students to avoid relying on rumors regarding the evaluation process and result announcements. He emphasized that the board has organized the examinations in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring that students will receive accurate results promptly.
"If a student has doubts about his/her obtained marks, he/she can apply for scrutiny, and their answer sheets will be re-checked," said Kishore, addressing concerns from students and parents alike. For those who do not meet the minimum required marks, there will be a chance to reappear for the exam through a compartmental examination.
The 2025 annual matriculation examinations saw participation from more than 15 lakh students spread across over 1600 examination centers. According to BSEB, the evaluation of answer sheets is set to commence in March 2025, paving the way for the expected result release in the first week of April.
Notably, the grading system in place by BSEB establishes a range of grades depending on percentage scores, with an A1 grade reserved for those achieving over 90%. Students who secure between 540-600 marks will receive an A1 grade, whereas those scoring below that threshold will be evaluated on a sliding scale down to those who receive an F grade for scores below 197.
The grading structure is outlined as follows:
Students need to be prepared to check their results efficiently. Once the results are released, they will be available for download at matricbiharboard.com, accessible by rolling numbers. To see their scores, students will need to put in their roll code. For any grievances regarding marks, the board has advised students to stay tuned for updates on the official website regarding supplementary exams. If students are not satisfied with their results, they can apply for supplementary exams planned for May 2025.
In addition, the registration process for supplementary exams will kick off around April 2025, enabling students who did not pass initially to take another chance.
Moving on to West Bengal, the WBBSE organized the Class 10 exams for students from February 10 to February 22, 2025. After successfully conducting the examinations, teachers are currently in the process of reviewing the answer sheets.
The West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2025, as reported by WBBSE, is expected to be announced in May, with the usual release pattern suggesting results could be hosted between the first and mid-week of May.
Students can stay updated on their results by checking wbbse.wb.gov.in, as well as utilizing SMS capabilities to receive grades directly on their phones. They can do this by sending a text formatted as “WB 10” followed by their exam roll number to either 56070 or 56263.
Students need to note that for the WB Madhyamik exam, approximately 25% (usually 34 out of 100) in each subject and overall is required to pass. If students do not pass 1 or more subjects, they will need to appear for compartment exams typically administered in June, with results expected in July or August.
Next, the results from the re-evaluation process are likely to be available by mid-June 2025, offering students a second chance at improving their scores.
Similar to BSEB, the grading system for WBBSE covers various grades which students will receive based on their scores:
With the examination periods behind them, students across both Bihar and West Bengal are now focusing on their results, which will soon dictate their academic futures. As the days count down to the announcements, both boards are working diligently to ensure that students receive their results accurately and fairly, reinforcing their commitment to transparency in the examination process.
The anticipation remains high as students hope for positive results that reflect their hard work during the academic year.
