Big Brother Mzansi Evicts Mata And Muzi-TheMbuzi

Drama escalates as housemates face new challenges and public votes after big evictions.

The Big Brother Mzansi 2024 Week 6 Sunday Live eviction show delivered thrills and drama as two housemates, Mata and Muzi-TheMbuzi, were sent packing. The evening, filled with tension, was opened by electrifying performances from Sjava and The Qwellers, setting the stage for another unexpected twist.

With Mata and Muzi gone, Nsuku is now left to navigate the Big Brother house completely solo. The two evictees were among her closest allies, making the upcoming weeks potentially perilous for her. “I still don’t take anything back. I don’t like feeling like I am the puppet to the puppet master, so I stand by what I said. Should the clips be played in the house, we know what was said,” Mata expressed to Smash Afrika after her eviction.

Muzi-TheMbuzi added, “She [Nsuku] meant a lot to me,” earlier indicating their complicated relationship. Post-eviction, Muzi looks to make waves outside the house with exciting international DJing gigs lined up.

This week also saw the Head of House (HoH) games bring fierce competition, with Mshini triumphing over her housemates. The games involved racing with planks and shaking chili-filled bottles, culminating in her victory. Now, Mshini will share the comforts of the HoH room with her designated housemate, Nsuku—an interesting twist amid increasing competition.

Adding to the tension, Biggie threw another curveball this week: the entire house is now up for possible eviction. It's clear—everyone must remain on their toes as they aim to secure their spots. Contestants, including Abobo, Beekay, Jojo, and Mandy Hagan, now face the reality of survival, making each move increasingly consequential.

The evictions this week also included Ash-ley Ogle, who left earlier following unexpected decisions from the voting process. Now, with only 14 housemates left, the competition grows fiercer as everyone anticipates the next turn of events.

While some housemates are dealing with the game’s intensity, others are thriving outside of it. Sipha Lee (real name Sphamandla Mthembu) has recently made his acting debut on Champions, a popular telenovela airing on Mzansi Magic. "The cat is out of the bag! Our very own current HOH made his debut on #ChampionsMzansi. From Episode 254 for catch up. Hey black child (especially from eKasi) your dreams are valid. Never underestimate the power of manifestation," he shared about his new opportunity.

Norman Nhlapo also continues to shine post-Big Brother. After joining various competitions, including YFM's Switch Be The Next Presenter Search, he made it to the top 5 finalists. Now, he has landed the co-hosting role on NBA Life Season II on SABC 2. “They say timing is everything, right? I’ve always known I had something to offer—something real, something authentic—but for the longest time, it felt like my message just wasn’t landing,” Norman reflected on his new path.

The excitement doesn’t stop as viewers also noted Bonnie Bee’s comments on social media after evicting Muzi-TheMbuzi. She emphasized the concept of karma, saying, "When you happy for someone’s downfall, others would be happy for your own downfall oh well, such is Life." This commentary reignites the discussion on alliances and rivalries within the house.

With the stakes higher than ever, viewers can expect more surprises and drama as the game progresses. Fans can vote to save their favorite housemates online, reinforcing just how pivotal audience engagement is for these contestants. So stay tuned, because this season of Big Brother Mzansi promises to ramp up the excitement!
