Beloved Ukrainian Actor Stanislav Kolokolnikov Passes Away

Ukrainian actor Stanislav Kolokolnikov, renowned for his work on stage and screen, has died at the age of 63 after battling severe illness. His passing was confirmed on January 30, 2025, by the Kyiv Academic Theater "Koleso," where he spent his final years performing.

"On the evening of January 30, at the age of 64, the deserved artist of Ukraine Stanislav Kolokolnikov passed away from a severe illness. Born on November 16, 1961, Kolokolnikov graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Arts, where he honed his craft under the guidance of notable mentors. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to the theater, performing over 30 roles at the "Koleso" theater and captivating audiences with various performances.

Before venturing seriously onto the big screen, Kolokolnikov was primarily known for his theatrical work. It wasn't until the early 2000s, following his debut film role, where he gained broader recognition among audiences. He became well-known for his roles in popular series such as "Return of Mukhtar," and other films including "Utiesov. A Song of Life," "Time of Sinbad," and "Pies." His performances showcased his ability to adapt to different genres, always leaving audiences enchanted. Fellow actors praised him, with one stating, "He was capable of playing roles of any genre and artistic dimension, and the audience was invariably captivated by the magic of his charm and charisma."

Kolokolnikov's last years were shadowed by health struggles. His colleagues expressed their sorrow over his passing, labeling it as "an irreparable loss for the theater collective of 'Koleso.'"
