Beca Benito Juárez Payment Schedule Released For April 2025

Beneficiaries can expect staggered payments throughout the month based on surname initials.

The official payment calendar for the Beca Benito Juárez, a vital program supporting students in Mexico, has been revealed. Payments for the March-April bimester began on April 1, 2025, and will continue through April 28, 2025, in a staggered manner based on the initial letter of beneficiaries' surnames.

The Beca Benito Juárez is administered by the National Coordination of Benito Juárez Well-being Scholarships (CNBBBJ) and aims to promote inclusive, equitable, and quality education. This initiative is crucial for many families, ensuring that students from vulnerable backgrounds can continue their education without the burden of financial constraints.

The program comprises three main modalities: the Beca Rita Cetina for families of basic education, the Beca Benito Juárez for youths in upper middle education, and the Beca Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro for higher education students. Each of these scholarships serves to alleviate the financial pressures that can hinder educational attainment.

For the current payment cycle, beneficiaries of the Universal Upper Middle Education Benito Juárez Scholarship, which encompasses high schools and baccalaureates, will receive their financial support during April 2025. The total amount disbursed is 1,900 pesos bimonthly per student. For families with multiple secondary students, the Beca Rita Cetina provides an additional 700 pesos per student.

The detailed payment schedule for the April 2025 deposits is organized alphabetically according to the first letter of the beneficiary's surname:

  • April 1, 2025: A

  • April 2, 2025: B

  • April 3 and 4, 2025: C

Payments are made directly to the beneficiaries' Banco del Bienestar cards, ensuring that the funds remain secure. Beneficiaries are advised not to withdraw their money immediately, as it is safely stored in their accounts. Instead, they can use their cards for purchases at authorized establishments.

Additionally, for new beneficiaries of the Upper Middle Education program who registered successfully in February 2025, the government announced a double payment. These students will receive a total of 3,800 pesos, covering both the January-February and March-April bimesters.

The Beca Benito Juárez program is an essential component of the Mexican government's strategy to guarantee the right to education and reduce school dropout rates. By providing this financial support, the initiative aims to empower students and their families, ultimately fostering a more educated and skilled workforce.

For those still awaiting their cards, the distribution of Banco del Bienestar cards continues across various locations in Mexico. Beneficiaries who receive their cards in April will have their payments deposited retroactively from January 2025.

As the April payment cycle progresses, many families are relieved to receive this much-needed support, allowing them to focus on education rather than financial worries. The government’s commitment to education and well-being remains steadfast, as evidenced by the ongoing efforts to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

For further information, beneficiaries can visit the official website of the CNBBBJ or contact their local Banco del Bienestar branch. The government encourages all eligible students to stay informed and make the most of the opportunities provided by the Beca Benito Juárez program.
