Béatrice Rosen has officially parted ways with the popular French talk show Touche pas à mon poste (TPMP), leaving her fans and followers curious about the reasons behind her departure. Once known for her candid takes on current matters, especially her critiques of the French government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rosen's exit marks the end of her notable tenure on the program.
The actress initially joined TPMP in 2022 after making her mark as a guest on the show. Her arrival sparked interest and soon led to her becoming one of the prominent voices on the panel, where she was recognized for her outspoken views. Following almost a year-long absence, she returned at the end of 2024 to comment on the political climate, particularly the election of Donald Trump. Unfortunately, since then, her presence has once again waned within the show's dynamics.
Rosen provided some insight during her appearance on the show Chez Jordan de Luxe on February 24, where she disclosed the multiple factors contributing to her choice to leave TPMP. "Il y a eu plusieurs raisons. C'est une émission qui est basée sur l'actu, donc évidemment c'est fait au jour le jour. Au jour le jour on vous appelle pour vous dire si vous travaillez ou non," she explained, hinting at the unpredictable nature of the program.
Balancing her professional duties with her personal life proved to be challenging for Rosen. "Cet aspect-là était très difficile à gérer, parce que quand on vous appelle à 13 heures et qu'il faut s'organiser pour aller chercher les enfants à l'école, c'est compliqué. C'était toujours mon mari qui y allait...", she shared, reflecting on the struggles many working parents face when unpredictability clashes with parenting responsibilities.
Despite the challenges she faced, it's clear Rosen holds no ill will toward her former employer. "Je ne suis pas du tout fâchée avec Cyril, je l'adore vraiment,” she stated, expressing fondness for the show's host, Cyril Hanouna. Her sentiments toward him stand in stark opposition to her feelings toward some of her former colleagues.
Rosen did take the opportunity to address her rapport with fellow panel members Géraldine Maillet and Valérie Bénaïm. "Je pense qu'elles jugent les gens sur leurs opinions. Et si elles ne sont pas d'accord, il y a un jugement sur la personne," she articulated, indicating her frustration with what she perceived as intolerance for differing perspectives.
Through her revelations, Rosen sheds light on the often-ignored challenges faced by television personalities, particularly those who must navigate the turbulent waters of public life, personal commitments, and workplace dynamics. Her remarks resonate not only within the entertainment industry but also with anyone who has ever struggled to balance work responsibilities with personal obligations.
While Béatrice Rosen may have bid farewell to TPMP, her impact remains—both from her time on the show and as she moves forward. Her insights contribute to the call for greater flexibility and empathy within media environments, qualities she perhaps wishes were more apparent during her time among the show's ranks.
