Bashkiria has made history with its first-ever export of ice cream, marking a significant milestone for the region's food production industry. Recently, six tons of ice cream variety produced by a well-known manufacturer from Ufa were sent to Vietnam, according to the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor for the region.
This manufacturer, recognized for its longstanding reputation in the ice cream sector, successfully passed all necessary export certification procedures and has been included on the registry of exporters within the Federal State Information System "Cerber." This step is not only pivotal for the local producer but serves as part of broader economic efforts to increase regional exports.
Prior to shipment, the ice cream underwent thorough laboratory testing to meet Vietnam's stringent quality standards. The laboratory where testing was conducted is accredited by Rosselkhoznadzor, ensuring the product adheres to the necessary regulations for export. "The producer has gone through export certification and is now listed among exporters within the system, highlighting their readiness to engage with international markets," said representatives from Rosselkhoznadzor.
The export was documented with the issuance of veterinary export certificate 5D through the Ecert system, providing assurance of compliance with the importing country’s safety requirements.
Bashkiria's administration remains focused on empowering local producers, facilitating their entry onto the international stage. This first shipment of ice cream not only promotes local enterprises but also enhances the region's reputation as a reliable source of quality food products. By successfully penetrating foreign markets, Bashkiria aims to solidify its economic foundation and create new opportunities for growth within the agricultural sector.
Looking forward, the successful export of ice cream is seen as just the first step. The regional government hopes this will pave the way for more local manufacturers to explore international opportunities. The alignment with national export objectives reflects both the ambition and determination of regional leaders to expand beyond local confines.
