Bac Ninh Launches 2025 Tourism Promotion Program

Provincial initiatives aim to attract tourists through cultural events and discounts.

Bac Ninh, Vietnam, is set to revitalize its tourism industry with the implementation of the 2025 Tourism Promotion Program. The Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has initiated plans to integrate and coordinate various cultural, sports, and tourism activities aimed at creating vibrant event series to attract both domestic and international tourists.

The program will officially kick off following the approval by the Provincial People's Committee on December 4, 2024. This comprehensive plan will encompass 15 distinct activities aimed at diversifying tourism products, enhancing the province's appeal, and promoting its rich cultural heritage.

According to the Bac Ninh Tourism Association, the promotion will carry the message "Vietnam - Go to love." This slogan serves as both a rallying call and marketing strategy, encouraging tourism businesses within the province to actively participate. By doing so, they can offer significant discounts ranging from 20-30% on various services, which include accommodation, tours, transportation, and culinary experiences.

Regional tourism businesses are gearing up to meet the anticipated increase in tourist traffic. Preparations are underway to improve infrastructure and manpower, ensuring they can adequately accommodate visitors and provide top-notch services. Further, businesses are committed to stabilizing service prices to prevent inflation and customer dissatisfaction during peak tourist periods.

The Bac Ninh Department emphasizes the need for effective communication about promotional programs to potential tourists. This will involve ensuring clear information is disseminated on various platforms, ensuring visitors are aware of the discounts and experiences available.

Each tourist attraction will also revamp its scenery and improve service quality to meet the heightened expectations of visitors. This is part of the broader initiative to bolster the safety, security, and overall experience within the tourism sector.

Notable events will be centrally organized to serve as highlights for promoting local culture. The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is actively working with local organizations, including the Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Singing Theater, to showcase traditional performances and cultural experiences regularly. These performances are expected to enrich the visitor experience and generate interest from tourists eager to immerse themselves in local traditions.

Local authorities are expected to oversee and guide the execution of these cultural and artistic events, ensuring they align with the broader objectives of boosting tourism. Festivals and regional celebrations will be organized early in the year, which are deemed integral to drawing more visitors to Bac Ninh.

A significant effort will involve establishing partnerships among tourism entities, airlines, hotels, and local attractions to present attractive packages for international tourists. The strategy aims not only to draw visitors but also to educate them about the region's unique offerings, including its historical significance and cultural richness.

For international visitors, emphasis will be placed on informing them about visa-free travel conditions and any applicable incentives. Engaging marketing strategies will include direct outreach to travel companies and networks to promote how easy it is to access Bac Ninh as part of their travel itineraries.

The Bac Ninh Tourism Association will be at the forefront of this initiative, actively encouraging member businesses to deliver quality service and innovative experiences. The association highlights the importance of maintaining high standards, especially during the promotional period, to establish Bac Ninh as a premier travel destination.

Overall, by combining the rich cultural heritage of the region with strategic marketing and service excellence, Bac Ninh is poised to attract increasing numbers of tourists, thereby driving local economic growth and showcasing the region's unique identity to both domestic and international audiences.
